Looking for the best sasunaru fanfics
I just came out of a SasuNaru fanart rabbit hole and now I need the absolute best fanfics. The ones that are required reading. I prefer explicit fics, and absolutely no cheating or infidelity.

Basically, Harry and Dumbledore both agree that Snape shouldn't have died. Right after the Battle of Hogwarts, Dumbledore shows Harry a different kind of Time-Turner. His mission is to go back two weeks, warn Snape, and give him enough time to prepare an antidote so he can survive Nagini's bite.
But, as always, everything goes wrong, and Harry ends up traveling eight months into the past instead.
During that time, he has to stay hidden to avoid interfering with the events of the war. That's where the title comes from. He spends those eight months living in Snape's quarters, and from there, their relationship slowly begins to develop.
What stood out to me the most was the author's writing. It's almost like reading poetry—very lyrical. We get such deep insight into Harry's emotions, and the author uses beautiful comparisons that really make you understand what he's feeling and how the romance unfolds at such a slow, natural pace.
For anyone wondering: Top Severus/Bottom Harry.
I recently read {Devoted to the Don by Leighton Greene}, and those first few pages have been living rent-free in my head. >!The hospital, Luca's coma, Finch being terrified that Luca might never wake up. That's exactly what I want.!<
I'm looking for a book where, at some point, MC1 is seriously injured, tortured, beaten, or involved in an accident and ends up in the hospital unconscious or in a coma, while MC2 has no idea if he's ever going to wake up. I want lots of emotional pain, angst, and crying, especially when MC1 finally wakes up.
No cheating, poly relationships, sharing, or terminal illnesses.
I just finished the first book in this series, and I'd like to know if in the next books I'll find out why Jordan hates Eden so much and controls everything she does?
I know Chani Lynn is usually very thorough with her content warnings, but I felt compelled to make this post because some readers might be misled the same way I was.
At the beginning of the book, there is a warning for attempted rape/forced mating, and that seemed fine to me. Anyone who has read Chani Lynn's omegaverse books knows Shiloh's past, how he was kidnapped, and everything that happened to him.
The issue is that it is not just another attempted rape.
It is rape.
And it happens when the book is already about 90% finished.
Yes, you read that correctly: at around the 90% mark, there is a completed rape scene, not an attempted one. Penetration occurs, so I do not think it is accurate to classify the scene as merely an attempted rape.
I'm mentioning this because, had I known this scene was in the book and that it would happen so late in the story, I would have been better prepared for it emotionally. So consider this a warning for anyone who, like me, pays attention to content warnings before starting a book.
{His Forbidden Omega by Chani Lynn Feener}
I just finished this read and I'm very confused about the sex part. At no point do Diego or Jasper have anal sex. Only Jasper uses a toy that is 'controlled' by Jasper, but I'm confused about why they don't have anal sex.
Like, at no point does it explain where Jasper falls on the sexuality spectrum and the fact that he has a daughter certainly means penetrative sex has happened on his part in the past with Nadia. Why doesn't this conversation happen?
Even in the last chapter, which takes place months later, it's Jasper giving a toy to Diego to use and not actually Jasper penetrating. Can someone explain this to me. I felt like in this book I lost a lot of information and I don't know where to find it.
it’s been a week since i finished this fic and it still won’t leave my head. if i can make ONE person read it with this post, i’ll already be happy because i’m in such a massive reading hangover right now. i can read other things, but this fic keeps crawling back into my brain, so i’m making this post in the hope that maybe i can finally move on. BECAUSE HOLY FUCK THIS FIC IS SO GOOD.
first, let’s get into the plot. this fic is an alternate universe where Harry’s parents are alive and, to keep Harry safe, they leave him with the Dursleys. THAT’S RIGHT, BITCH, YOU THOUGHT THERE WOULDN’T BE CHILD NEGLECT? THERE WILL BE, AND IT’S GONNA HURT LIKE HELL. Harry stays there from age 3 to 8 (if i remember correctly), suffering every kind of physical abuse imaginable (no sexual abuse though, okay?), and then the war ends and his parents come to get him back.
Harry learns to keep everything to himself and never tells his parents about the abuse he suffered, but obviously that’s gonna have huge consequences later on. then, at 11, he goes to Hogwarts, and basically the fic follows canon all the way to the bathroom incident with Draco. meaning that even with Harry’s parents alive, the author adapted every single adventure Harry went through up until the bathroom incident to fit this version of the story. ALL OF THAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST CHAPTER.
the fic itself actually starts with Harry in his final year at Hogwarts, and Snape is teaching a special advanced defense class for the seventh years. Harry is determined to get into that class and prove to Snape that he’s not just “his father’s son” or whatever. Harry wants to be himself and let go of this reckless brave-boy façade where he throws himself into danger every five seconds. he wants to actually be himself.
but then someone starts trying to kill Harry, and he has to figure out who it is and why they want him dead. anyway, that’s the spoiler-free plot.
now, what really caught my attention were the tags. i usually don’t read alternate universe fics, but the tags convinced me. like… obsessive behavior? EXCUSE ME? usually that tag shows up on dead dove fics, not on a “normal” fic, you know? i got so curious about how the author was gonna make that work without it feeling forced for Snape’s personality.
AND SOMEHOW THIS AUTHOR PULLS IT OFF. JESUS CHRIST, THEY PULL IT OFF SO WELL. THAT’S WHY THIS FIC WON’T LEAVE MY HEAD.
Snape is obsessive in this way where he absolutely cannot stand Harry, but he also can’t stop watching him. and in his own head, this is just him protecting/taking care of Harry because, like, come on, he spent years looking after this idiot kid. of course now that someone’s trying to kill him, he needs to stay close and keep an eye on him.
the author handles Harry and Snape’s attraction to each other SO WELL. Harry’s still figuring himself out, he’s confused as hell, and he starts developing these feelings for Snape. then Snape sees something in Harry’s mind and suddenly he’s like, hmmm, maybe this boy isn’t who i thought he was. Harry starts changing, you know? he shows Snape that he wants to be more than just his father’s shadow, and Snape actually gives him a chance.
and then they start building this weird little friendship. look, it’s not exactly friends to lovers, okay? but their relationship develops slowly. Snape doesn’t accept the attraction right away. he fights it because he knows it’s “wrong,” but Harry is determined. and once Harry accepts his own attraction, he becomes completely set on proving to Snape that this could actually work.
NOW, ANOTHER THING that left me staring at the wall in disbelief, something i have NEVER, EVER seen in a Snarry fic before, was the dirty talk. holy fucking shit. Snape talking filthy and being possessive with Harry? holy fucking shit, what a blessing, what a miracle. it was like the cherry on top of the sundae. it was the first sip of water after wandering through the desert for hours.
i genuinely have never read anything like this before. the author implemented those traits into Snape SO WELL that you think there’s no way it’ll work from the tags alone, but somehow they make it work. and it doesn’t even feel out of character, you know? Snape was a poor kid who grew up with nothing. why wouldn’t he become possessive over the things that are his? over his lover? MY GOD.
the dirty talk… jesus christ. why don’t authors write Snape with dirty talk more often? MY GOD. just because he’s grumpy doesn’t mean he can’t have a kink.
anyway. i need to reread this fic. i can’t do this anymore. i thought writing this post would make me feel better, but now i just want to read it all over again.
that’s it. if this interested you at all, i genuinely hope you read this fic.
hugs and kisses.

That MC who is intelligent — can even be considered a genius or has a Eidetic Memory, etc., has a doctorate — but works a "normal" job, so to speak, because they're trying to hide that intelligence.
It can be for various reasons or due to trauma and insecurity. MC2 starts to notice their intelligence little by little.
I read this in {The Revenge Mishap by with Jax Calder} and I'm obsessed.
No cheating/poly/love triangles.
The club scene at the beginning of the book made me really upset!!!! Oh my God. I literally think that was cheating.
Maybe not cheating, but it was so disrespectful to his relationship with his boyfriend. Jackson and Kill are some of my favorite characters in this series and the fact that he masturbated while watching one of his best friends getting blown by Kill's closest friend bothered me SO much!
Sure, the body reacts to things, we can't control that, but he CHOSE to masturbate and kept watching the two of them. Like????? If it were your boyfriend, would you consider it cheating? Him literally sitting next to the other two watching them do stuff.
I'm just really upset right now. How am I supposed to know if Jackson is going to tell Kill about this? I need a POV to know Kill's feelings about it.
Has anyone read this book and felt bothered by this?
{Forbidden Titan by E.V. Olsen}
I'm looking for stories where MC1 has a deceased boyfriend/husband/wife and struggles to love again. He may have already been involved in physical relationships, but never loved again until MC2 comes along.
The thing is, I want some angst on this topic. I want it to be like "I will never love you", but ends up falling in love, you know?
Another VERY IMPORTANT thing: I can't feel like, by some miracle, if that dead person appeared in front of MC1, he would drop MC2 in an instant. Yes. I want MC1 to love MC2 *more* than he loved the deceased person.
I want to feel the angst, but in the end I want to feel satisfied, not like there's a ghost haunting the relationship.
P.s. if for some plot reason that person rises from the ashes, I also accept that as a scenario, like what happens in {Enemy of My Enemy by Tal Bauer} (those who know, know).
NO cheating, sharing, poly, love triangles, or the MCs being with other people after they get together for the first time.
