Trying to find a schematic for my Gibson GA5T
I was told it's a 64. it has tremolo, but no tone control, and I can't find a schematic for a 10 watt skylark with tremolo and no tone control. Where should I be looking? Am I dense?
I'm not sure i want to be here anymore
I'm a recovering addict being faced with all the harm i've done to my loved ones, and if i can do it to them then no one is safe. it's hard not to blame myself for everything, and it's hard to try to counter the argument in my head that one more emotional injury is going to be better for them in the long run. i should use a throw away for this because they know my reddit handle, but maybe this is a cry for help. i don't know. i just know i'm overwhelmed and i don't know if i want to be here anymore
I'm from maine. ask me whatever you want
joining the trend
this is one of the photos he sent me, but i received the guitar today and after a quick setup i am amazed by the gold foil sound
could i take a 4 string and string it with the bottom 4 of a 5 string set? i don't mind playing higher on the neck for my higher notes. in my tiny guitarist brain i could use lighter gauge 5 string strings to even out the tension and then get my 4 string to have a low b. thank you all for indulging my small brain, i am but a guitarist i cannot help it</3
edit: thank you all so much! i'm going to look into this further. i ask because i want to get a gibson thunderbird and they only come as 4 string, unfortunately
i'm thinking of picking up a vintage harmony bobcat. anyone have experience with these? they're findable for $500-600 and goldfoils are so unique that as long as i can make it play half decent i'd be happy. i've built several guitars and do all my own maintenance so if the build quality of these things is generally half decent i expect i'd love it forever. anyone have or played one? would love to hear thoughts
