Multiverse of Caroline's Favorite Heroines - Fearless, Fierce AND Fabulous.

So, I decided to exercise my use of free will and create this poster/image/card/board or whatever, made of all my favorite characters across multiple series I have watched.

I call this collection: Multiverse of Caroline's Favorite Heroines - Fearless, Fierce AND Fabulous.

(Aisha, Stella and Raf are my OG's)

I take back my words. I don't hate Bloom anymore (the old Bloom, anyways.)

I just finished watching the trailer for Winx Club, the reboot, and I'll just say, this new Bloom makes old Bloom extremely, and I mean extremely good. I'm talking angel level good.

You know, the old Winx Club? It was a Bloom-centric story, but it did not diminish the others who also fought alongside her.

It was:

- the Winx against the Trix.

-the Winx who saved Alfea.

-the Winx who were in the final fight.

It was the Winx.

*Emphasis on the WINX*

As in the whole group as a whole.

But this new trailer, especially the trailer alone, those two minutes trailer, the amount of time I have been reminded that it's Bloom's sole purpose to save Alfea, like, everyone depends on her, how they have created or made it look like the others are extremely incompetent and useless unless it's Bloom. It's like, everything is upon Bloom.

It's very weird and extremely disturbing and annoying, because it just reduced all the other girls to basically nothing. Because it's now it's , especially when Faragonda talks, it's all about, "Bloom, the whole school is looking at you to save us".

And that's not how Winx Club was. Winx Club was all of them, and the final battle, everything. It was a Winx thing. Yes, Bloom was the fairy of the Dragon Flame, she was all-powerful, but it was a team thing. But it wasn't solely "Bloom carries everyone." But this new one, it's giving Bloom, Bloom, Bloom, Bloom, Bloom.

It's making the old Bloom writing look like she's a saint.

If you think she was insufferable then, then your flabbers are about to be extremely gusted. And this is not even a Bloom hate thing. They just completely ruined the concept of WINX CLUB.

At this point, Ignio can just go back and call the show Magical Bloom cause the team/club aspect just fleed out the window, without a backward glance.

I just had a thought...

Across all social media platforms with Winx fandom, my girl Stella receives the least loud/pronounced hate? I wonder why?

I mean, she is utter perfection, but still, people don't have enough, can I say spine, to continuously and loudly come for her much, and I love that.

And you all will say that she's not perfect. My princess is perfection to a T.

We Stella stans stay winning.

Talia - Princess of Xeris...

I have a general fear with the new Season 3 coming and I hope I am wrong and discredited, honestly.

My concern is i don't know, but I feel that with how much love Talia has over the MC, they may possibly find a way to reduce her essence, be it transformation, her looks, her energy...but something may happen. Like Aisha from Winx. I'm not saying it will happen, but it happens.

In many cases, the moment a side character becomes too beloved, writers mostly sometimes start adjusting the balance to keep the main character feeling like the main character. And from how long Lolirock fandom has been active even without a new season, we all know Talia ranks higher than Iris in fandom size, way higher. (Don't come for me, it's a fact)

Talia's elegant, mature, confident, powerful, has one of the most memorable transformations.

Now, again, I am not saying it will happen, I'm just looking at it through various problems in history, but I just hope it doesn't.

ALL HAIL QUEEN OF ANDROS

If beauty, brains, and brawn had a face, it would definitely be her.

Icon, Diva, Mother, Queen.

Utter perfection from how she looked, to how she talked, to how she walked.

She is a pillar of discipline. She is iconic. She is the diva of all divas. She is ethereal. She is elegance personified. She is perfection. She is beauty. She is strength. She is power.

She’s the blueprint, the moment, the reference point.

She is the embodiment of every thing, want and need..........it’s not just beauty, she's THEE presence.

So for today, we celebrate you in all your strengths and all your weaknesses.

As your stans, we love you.

And all your haters wish they could embody you.

We love you so much. Happy birthday, Aisha.

You’re not just iconic today. You are the standard.

Let's make-believe

If you were to create a Winx story, starring you, what story would you give yourself? Your plot line, your powers, your friends group, your kingdom (if you wish to be a princess/prince), your boyfriend/girlfriend?

My powers: I'd want to be a fairy of Light. But not just basic light. Conceptual light. It reveals, cleanse, purifies, heals, soothes. My light can be elemental, but it's mostly conceptual and emotional.

I don't want to be a princess, more like a keeper of balance.

My story: I come from a long line of fairies that many people don't know exist, as most of our powers are considered to be emotional manipulation and are considered 'taboo'.

The Fairies of Sacred Light are ancient guardians of emotional and spiritual balance.

My friends: I will have a friend called Lyra - Fairy of Sound. She's the emotional heart of the group. She's sweet, kind, always optimistic and fashionable.

Kiara - Fairy of Flames. She's calm, collected, really smart, a bit rebellious, sassy, sarcastic and the brains of the group. Mostly comes up with the best strategies

Tara - Fairy of water/liquids. Brave, kind, regal, authorotarive, firm. She's the one who ensures we don't do something stupid that will make us get expelled but at the same time will be the first one to come up with insane ideas.

Lastly, Sasha - Fairy of Lightning - Impulsive, stubborn, hard headed, talkative, a little combative but still sharp, loyal and caring.

Boyfriend: I'll take a combination of Nabu, Brandon and Thoren.

Let's hear yours.

Magic in Winx personal thoughts

I feel like one of the biggest inconsistencies of what is called Winx Club is its power system. How? You see, I believe this is how magic works.

Magic is like someone's DNA. It is something that lives inside you. It can never be taken away from you. It can never go. But you can be prevented or blocked from accessing it. Now, you see in season one, Bloom's magic was taken away from her, by the Trix. But later, she realized that she still has it, and she transformed and she fought the Trix.

Now, the problem comes in season six again when the Winx attack Selina, and then everyone else loses their power. Personally, I feel the spell that Selina did, it didn't take away their powers. It blocked their access, and it didn't make sense that Bloom's power remained, seeing as it had once been taken suppressed in season one.

You can't take away someone's power. It's there, it's in their blood; BUT you can block their access. Now, since it already had happened to Bloom in season one, it didn't make sense that it didn't happen to her again in season six. Even if your power is the most powerful power In the universe, you can still be blocked from channeling it.

And that's, I believe that's what happened in the beginning of season six before they got their Bloomix. That spell that Selina cast did not take away their powers. It's just blocked how they can access their powers.

And it should also have happened to Bloom, not because the dragon flame, is inextinguishable or whatever, but because fairies are vessels who channel power from their sources.

Because someone like Stella, Stella has powers of the sun. That doesn't mean that the sun is actually inside her. She can channel the power.

So even if Bloom is fairy with the dragon flame, the dragon flame is not exactly sitting inside her chest physically. (I know every time we see it being taken, it's like ripped from her chest, but I always think that the chest is where the soul and body connect, so if someone were to pull someone's power out of them, it'll be pulled from there)

So it didn't make sense that everyone else lost their powers, but her. You cannot take away a fairy's powers just like you can't take away someone's DNA. What it did, it blocked their access to their powers. That's what I believe should have happened. All of them, their access to their powers should have been blocked.

And as for Bloomix season, I feel like after that spell, the girls should have been made to journey to the origin of the Magic Dimension, connect with the original creator and original powers sources and learn how to re-unlock their powers, at a greater level, while still navigating Selina, the Trix and learning how to adapt without their maximum powers.

What do you think of this theory?

Fan cast

I don't know if this is talked about in this community much, but I have a question. If you were to fan cast people in the real world to play characters in this show, who would you cast?

And I'm not talking about, "This one has blonde hair, so let's call her Usagi." Or "This one has black hair, so let's call her Rei."

No, I'm talking about someone who right now, if you were to put them in a wig with two bun ponytails, okay, and give her a Sailor Moon outfit, and make her stand there, you would see Usagi Tsukino.

So, who on this earth would you fan cast as characters in Sailor Moon? And I'm talking about who carry deep resemblance to the characters, not just because people say so. Like someone who when you see, immediately makes you remember characters in Sailor Moon.

Winx 2D and 3D VERSIONS

It might sound weird but I have never like 3D versions of the girls. I don't know but, for some reason, to me, their 3D selves were not appealing, like they looked like less versions of themselves. Maybe it is because even till this day, I have never liked 3D style in animation, maybe that is why. But ever since the beginning, I just did not like 3D versions of Winx girls. They looked....less them, to me. My personal opinion though.

What do you think of my logic?

If I were to create a next generation Winx, based on the characters we know, I'll go like this:

Daphne's Daughter - Fairy of the dragon flame

Bloom's daughter - Fairy of dragon fire

Stella's daughter - Fairy of sun, moon and stars

Aisha's daughter - Fairy of water and fluids

Musa's daughter - Fairy of vibration

Galatea's daughter - Fairy of sound

Kyrstal's daughter - Fairy of nature

Flora's daughter - Fairy of natural essence

Tecna's daughter - Fairy of electric energy

My power system operates on this logic: princess have more general power than citizens, hence why Stella's daughter remains with her mom's full powers, Aisha's daughter gets all things liquid, Krstyal's daughter gets overall nature, Galatea's daughter gets overall sound, Bloom's daughter gets dragon fire(Although, what is the element of the people of Eraklyon?) and obviously, Daphne's daughter gets the dragon flame as the flame remains in the Domino's royal family bloodline.

Thoughts?

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all these beautiful, strong and powerful women, who gave us our favorite characters.

You raised immaculate girls who grew in strength, wisdom and power to become Guardian Fairies and the new Company of Light!!!!

The Magic Dimension will forever be in your debt.

I hate it when people compare these three girls, Sam, Clover, and Alex.

One thing I like about Totally Spies is how each girl has equal importance, equal narrative weight, equal screen time, equal shine. I hate it when people start comparing, oh, this one is this, this one is this, this one is this. It's annoying. It. Is. Annoying.

Those girls, they take charge depending on the situation. People be like, "oh, Sam is the leader", "oh, Clover is the leader," I never heard much about Alex, but people are mostly comparing Sam and Clover, and it's annoying because it always depends on the situation that they are in. Whoever takes charge of situations throughout the series, it's always depending on the situation that they're in. Is it something that needs to be tackled socially? Is it something that needs to be tackled logically? Is it something that needs to be tackled physically? Depending on the situation, the girl who is best in that specific field, she's the one who takes lead. She's the one who takes charge.

So I get annoyed when people say, oh, this one is the leader, this one is the leader.

Totally Spies is the one show that if you ask me, wrote a girl group in the best way. They gave equal narrative weight to the characters, to the main characters: the three girls. It is the first show that I always bring up when I'm asked of shows with balanced weight among the MCs. Totally Spies and Avatar. Because they don't center just the show around one person.

So when fans start thinking, oh, this one is the leader, this one is the leader, it pisses me off.

Have you guys been to Winx Club community/fandom? That is the reason why a lot of Winx Club characters (aka Bloom) receive hate, because of this whole leader and hierarchy thing.

Don't turn the girls' friendship into a hierarchy. They are a group of friends. Personally, I believe that's how a friend group works. Friend groups don't have leaders. It's three people, four people, ten people who come together, share ideas, and depending on the situation that they are put in, whoever is best in that situation takes point.

With that being said, I feel it's unfair that the MODS made one person the face of this community. The show HAS 3 main characters and there is no one official protagonist.

I thinking. Anytime we see the girls transform, it's during fights.

So apart from the winx, the rest of the girls in the school rarely have battles. So let's assume that the rest of the girls, the rest of the students don't have battles apart from the winx, which they don't.

So do they transform in their normal lives to just fly around? I'm actually curious.

Do they just transform to fly around and do nothing, and then they de-transform? Or like they want to go to the shop, they transform, they go to the shop, they come back, and they de-transform? Like what do they do, what do they use their wings for?

Because at least for the winx, we always see them transform anytime they're about to fight, they're about to go and fight or in a battle.

So these other girls who don't fight, what do they actually do with their transformed states?

Considering Enchantix is a requirement for graduation, and you have to be a guardian fairy.

The Magic Dimension already has this group of six girls who are guardian fairies for everything and all things concerning the Magic Dimension. So these other girls, what are they going to be guardians of?

u/her_royal_goddess — 2 months ago

People don't give these girls enough credit. Hell, even the writers don't give these girls enough credit.

Winx is a group of teenage girls who risk their lives for their friend....continously. And instead of being appreciated, they get power scaled by the fandom AND the writers.

The entire plots of Winx seasons are: Big bad wants Dragon Flame - Bloom has Dragon Flame - Go after Bloom - Bloom fight to protect the dimension. - Bloom wins.

But what these plots sometimes forget to show, or should I say emphasize, is these other five girls who don't have Dragon Flame capability powers but will still dive head first to fight and protect their friend. Apart from the princesses (Stella, especially, whose powers I believe are the closest thing to the Flame considering she wields the powers of the three powerful celestial bodies), the other girls are just........students.

Friends leave, and after two seasons of all that trauma, no one was obligated to still be Bloom's friend, and protect her from the bad guys, with all they have encountered so far. But they still do. Over and over again. And I feel like the theme of friendship is always quickly overlooked in this series in favour of power scaling.

Friend groups break up over the most silliest of things and they are not obligated to stay in the group.

None of the girls owe Bloom anything, in fact, it's the other way round with all the shit they've been to for her, and her dragon flame....but they still CHOOSE to fight with her and ensure that the dimension is safe and their friend, too. And that's just beautiful honestly.

I just wish would prioritize their friendship more over power scales. Cause when it comes down to it, they'll go HARD for each other without thinking twice, power levels be damned.

And I hate the writers for fucking that up through favoritism in their writing with the need to create power level hierarchy.

ALL THOSE GIRLS ARE POWERFUL. YOU CAN'T SAVE A DIMENSION MULTIPLE TIMES IF YOU'RE NOT POWERFUL.
