I picked up one case simply to try the Ruby Apple flavor since it's not sold singularly. (They really should've made packs of the two flavors separately but I digress)

I'm glad I only bought the one because this was a genuinely disappointing experience.

I had tried the Witches Brew before and was not a fan. It tasted too sour and the caramel after taste was syrupy and artificial tasting. This didn't come as a surprise to ke since sour apple flavors have never been at the top of my list. But with all the hype I'd hoped for better.

I wish I could say differently for the Ruby Apple which I was excited to try since my tastes are sweet leaning rather than sour.

In my opinion, the Ruby Apple is cloyingly sweet. This is coming from someone who's all time favorite flavor is Cotton Candy which I've heard has a reputation for being "too sweet".

Yet normally I prefer things that are very sugary however this missed the mark for me. It was so ridiculously Apple candy sweet that it overwhelmed anything else this drink could have to offer.

The caramel flavor here is better suited for the Ruby Apple and I will admit that it does taste reminiscent of a caramel apple if the sugar was dialed up 100.

Witches Brew gets a 3/10 for me, 5 being average

Ruby Apple gets a 6/10, after putting it on ice and letting it dilute slightly it was quite pleasant to sip on. I imagine it would be nice to mix with another soda maybe to mellow out the very strong flavor.

Am I the only one who felt this way? I see so much love and people hoarding carts of these bundles and all I can imagine is that it's FOMO or scarcity bias. I know everyone has different tastes but everyone who I had try these flavors we're not even a little fond of them.

So now I'll have to find ways to make the Ruby Apple to taste a bit better since I have 5 more to drink. Leave suggestions in the comments!

As for the Witches Brew well I'll give those out I guess, I genuinely cant bring myself to finish even one. To those who do love it I hope you managed to snag yourself a few ♡

Amphoreus continuation patch will feature crazy yuri freak off between Cyrene and Acheron. Say what y'all want about ZZZ but they fed us so much yuri with Sunbringer and Beliora. Also Remielle being an assassin cuntress lesbian was not on my bingo card but I'm glad they changed her up.

Btw this is not Cyrene slander, yall know I love my girl more than anything but I do hope they give her more individual character progression in future Amphoreus content because my girl deserves it. I don't compare Remi and Rene super closely because Remielle is not even an expy, she's more of a variant. Whereas Cyrene is indisputably an expy if not Elysia herself. But in a perfect world we have a Kiana variant and Acheron interact with Cyrene at some point so I can live my yuri LIFEEE all over again. And no Eden variant was sick asf btw, I know Cyrene is lonely as hell in Amphoreus, even her DL Trade got snatched away by Mydeick. (i know people compare Eden to Hysilens or Aglaea but the comparisons stop pretty soon)
