I registered for IELTS on Computer (CD) with IDP on 8 August, and my LRW test is scheduled for 16 August.

I haven't received my Speaking test date/time yet. For those who recently took IELTS on Computer with IDP India:

• When did you receive your Speaking slot?
• Was it on the same day as LRW, or a different day?
• How many days before the exam did IDP inform you?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to apply for an APS Certificate for a Master's application in Germany and have a small name discrepancy in my documents.

In most of my documents (passport, bachelor's degree, transcripts, etc.), my father's name is spelled one way, while in my Class 12 marksheet there is a minor spelling variation (a single missing letter).

Apart from this, all other details such as my name, date of birth, and academic records match perfectly across documents.

I am considering submitting a One and the Same Person Affidavit to explain the discrepancy.

Has anyone faced a similar situation during APS verification?

• Was the affidavit sufficient?
• Did APS request any additional supporting documents?
• Did this cause any issues later during university applications or visa processing?

I am a final-year B.Tech student (currently completed 6th semester) and plan to apply for the APS certificate around November 2026 for Winter Semester 2027 admissions in Germany.

I have done some prior research:

• I checked the APS India website and saw that students can apply using a provisional certificate if they have already graduated.
• I found older discussions mentioning that APS could be applied for before receiving the final degree by submitting transcripts and enrollment documents.
• However, I also came across recent discussions suggesting APS requirements may have changed, which has confused me.

My situation:

• Completed 6th semester.
• 7th semester will be ongoing in November 2026.
• Final degree will likely be issued in mid-2027.

My question is: Under the current APS rules, can I apply for APS while still pursuing my bachelor's degree (before graduation), or do I need to wait until I receive a provisional/final degree?

If anyone has applied recently while still studying, I would appreciate hearing about your experience and the documents you submitted.
