Hey peeps. So i recently had engine swapped. And since the swap my car shudders on low rpm. I can even hear the CAI slamming the battery. Is it the engine mounts? Because i ordered ANCHOR 9247 and 9451 to replace the mounts as well. The transmission mounts were replaced couple days before the swap.
Is it the mounts or something else? Maybe he didnt torque it well?

Now its pissing coolant. What could it be?
Idk if you guys remember but my headgasket was blown on my j32a3. So i bought used j35a8. My mechanic did the swap and now it cranks but it wont start. The green key light is there but it goes out after couple seconds. The dash wasnt touched and i used the ecu from j32 so i doubt its the immobilize issue. Anyone who experienced the same could you please tell me whats wrong with it?
Hello everyone. So about a week or so i blew my headgasket ( previous post ). I decided to go with type-s engine instead of repairing the heads. Was costing me the same with my mechanic ( i never worked on engines or transmission). Little back story on the engine. The J35A8 i bought was a project for a manual swap ( mostly resealed, timing done etc) but never drove because it was pissing coolant. The seller who bought the car from the guy told me he found the leak. He never put on the heater core clamp thats where the leak was and he put the clutch on backwards but surprisingly it still drove. It has 128623 miles on it.
Im gonna swap my aising kit, crankshaft pulley, drive belt pulley’s and valve cover gasket from my engine to this. ( all have less than 2k miles on it).
My question is what should i do while the engine is out other than rear main seal. Also My transmission was acting up before the heads blew ( delay when put in drive/ reverse from park and hard shifting when it was warm) but i did 3x3 flush which made it way better than before. Should i change the tranny as well or just reseal if theres any leak?
What should i look out for while swapping? Is it going to be plug and play?

Edit: i paid 400usd for the engine. Its at my mechanic’s shop since Wednesday. ( went on vacation) He said he will work on it on Monday. I still got 2 days if i need anything else please let me know.
Hey TL fam. Past few days my car would shake on cold start and i didnt think of it as anything serious since it would go away after couple seconds until last night. The whole car felt like i was on a roller coster when i cranked it. Brought it to my mechanics shop today, he did compression test as i was losing coolant as well. Turns out my front head gasket is blown.
So about 3 weeks ago it started over heating but no engine smoke or anything. Replaced the thermostat, still there. Then put on a new radiator and the over heating went away. Untill last night when i got back home and my neighbour could smell my engines heat across the street. Still wasnt overheating.
Now the question is, should i repair the front head gasket or put on j35A8 engine on it?
I have put over 10k on this car so far on the parts and repair. Check my previous post.

• Crank shaft pulley and gasket -Graco serpentine belt -New paint
• Battery -5% tint all around
• Front lip, side skirts, diffuser, spoiler lip, bumper skirts and window visors
• After market 11.5inch carplay with rear view camera -new ac compressor. -Tinted headlights and tail lights. -DC Cold air intake with brand new air filter
• replaced the front stock speakers with kick stereo and replaced stock sub with type-s
• Muffler delete -Ps pump -full valve cover gasket including front and back. -Transmission mount -Satin black wrap -19 inch oppe perfomance wheels with firhawk indy for front and continental rear ( staggered setup )
Lol might be few other things that i dont remember.
