Any talk of 🧊 and now fł0čķ gets removed by the mods

Actively suppressing community discussion about surveillance and the illegal actions of jackboot thugs is complicit behavior.

Real harm is happening to Naples residents every day. Deleting and removing civil discourse for the oligarch overlords is gross.

Follow Unidos Immokalee and honestly let’s consider another Naples sub for actual locals.

ETA: locked by the mods. Enough said.

The goal is goodbye

This is my 13th kitten to go for surgery and adoption this year. Most times I have a little moment to say goodbye, then I get notified when they are adopted and it’s a wonderful feeling.

Every so often, one kitten tugs at my heart…and it’s extra hard to send them off. This little lady is one of them, and I will miss her dearly.

Go have the best life Nellie, I love you and was so glad to know you for the first steps of your journey.

I just wanted to share with people that understand, solo fostering in a new city is tough. ❤️‍🩹

ICE in Cranberry Township

Sheetz in Cranberry. He said his name is Giovanni (spelling may be different). Can anyone get ID on him and notify his family?

Gotta love FPL

Comcast cut a line somewhere doing whatever they are doing and now our neighborhood has been without power since 8:45am. FPL has been here and gone, and still we wait.

First it was 1:30, then 4:30, now 9:45p for restoration.

What kind of a response is this? In emergencies and weather related issues there are delays and that is understandable. This is not that. Run a temp line and get people connected.

Pine Ridge exit I-75

UPDATE: all of this was for one individual out of Colorado allegedly wanted for a probation violation stemming from charges related to marijuana. No reports indicate this person was a risk to the public or considered dangerous. The CCSO & LCSO are now asking for the public to notify them if they have any information.

Absolutely not necessary by any means. Law enforcement should understand that blaming people for calling 911 for unnecessary reasons claiming a “waste of resources” is just ridiculous when they respond like this.

News outlets have named the “suspect” so I am not doing it here. What an absurd waste of money.

Significant police presence. CCSO, LCSO, FHP, and more. Creating a slowdown for traffic, helicopter is also circling.

There is a large construction project happening with a commercial building on southbound side.

Anyone knows what’s going on, let us know. Looks pretty intense to have that many responders there. No fire or ambulance. Not a collision.

Update: 2:13pm. Gulf Coast news said deputies are searching for a suspect. Seems a bit overkill for that. Will update with any further info.

Recycle Coach App

Just saw the segment on Gulf Coast News about all the non-recyclable stuff that gets put in curbside pickup. This app, Recycle Coach, has a feature that lets you scan an item you are unsure about to determine if it is recyclable - and how to recycle it within your municipality.

Naples is participating but needs interested residents to gauge interest and presumably pay for the service for users.

It’s been reported that about 5% of plastic is actually recyclable. So actually making sure that happens would be a good thing.

Thanks for reading and hopefully people are interested in this as a tool for residents. It also has collection reminders for those of us that are always forgetting.

Now back to your regularly scheduled posts of “where do I eat” and “what is the best beach”
