Urgent Care Pearls

Hi everyone! I’m an urgent care physician for over 8 years and recently started a YouTube channel called Urgent Care Pearls.

I created it specifically for providers working in urgent care, focusing on the things that actually come up during a busy shift: clinical pearls, common mistakes, procedures, red flags, and those judgment calls that aren’t always covered well in textbooks.

I try to keep the videos practical and grounded in what we actually see day to day.

If that sounds useful, feel free to check out Urgent Care Pearls on YouTube. I appreciate your support!

I’d also love to hear what topics or cases you’d want covered next. I’m always looking for ideas from other UC providers!

Made a one-page discharge safety checklist for urgent care/ED. Designed as a quick pause before you hit discharge on anything that feels even slightly off. Covers vitals, clinical reasoning, documentation, return precautions, and follow-up in one page.

Especially helpful if you're new to urgent care or transitioning from a different setting.

Happy to drop the link in the comments if anyone is interested.
