RB4/Legacy Delisting DLC Discussion: May 24-30, 2026 (Ozzy Osbourne, Ministry, Twisted Sister, Warrant)

In this thread we can discuss the DLC that is being delisted this week, and people can give some reviews and recommend ones to pick up while we still can.

NOTE: They usually go at midnight the night before, but we have also Xbox delistings happen a few hours early, or even more than a day so don't wait! Playstation seems to delist all at once but in December they delisted everything over a week before the end of the month...once again do not wait. Dates here are listed a day early to try to help with the early delistings.

The game is really cool so far (still pretty early on after the first time skip forward) but I'm already finding myself frustratingly limited by the class system, which I know wants to promote varied builds, but makes it feel less satisfying to level the classes.

For example, I started with a primary white mage, with secondary black mage, and also had a primary black mage, with secondary white mage. Both those classes are very powerful (black mage far outdamages my physical attackers, and white mage has great healing and revive)

I decided to level some more classes so I went mystic/white mage, and time mage/black mage. But I instantly found myself suffering from not having access to 2 black and 2 white mages, and it made me wonder if there was a point of leveling mystic if Im probably never going to choose those abilities over just having a black mage and white mage on one character. Losing the white mage especially made things feel really bleak when the tides would turn against me, and a chemist and a white mage weren't enough to turn things back in my favor (especially as phoenix down is much less effective than raise).

I feel like if you could master a class and then use its abilities forever without needing to use up one of your two class spots it would make leveling up feel a LOT more fun. Mystic would be a good tool in the toolbox, but doesn't seem worth giving up a full class to. As of now, I find myself leveling classes and wondering what's the point if I'll rarely have access to those abilities in the long run. And using JP Boost means the blue skills are hard to justify, and having only one of purple/yellow makes it feel kind of like there isn't too much point learning new ones. Like all these interesting skills, but in my opinion, not enough spots to use them.

I dunno, VERY cool game so far, Im just wishing you had more access to the different abilities instead of having to be SO selective
