Need build advice to lock the deal
This is going to be my first PC! So I am a Mechanical Engineering student whose main reason to build a pc is for productivity (Solidworks, Ansys, Catia, etc.)
I love playing games too, so I am trying to get a pc that can run games smoothly on 2k and the one that can last for 5-7 years. My main game preferences are Openworld, soulslike, and other story heavy games. I don't need crazy fps, 90-120 are more than enough for me.
These are the builds my local store suggested, **DW THE RAM IN THE RYZEN BUILD IS 16gb DDR5 5600MZ** It's a typo.
I've decided to go with RX 9060 XT because of the 16 gigs of VRAM it provides, although I'd love an Nvidia card, but a good one costs a fortune.
The thing I'm unsure about is the CPU, should I go with AMD for upgradability and low power consumption or should I go with intel for better single core performance during productivity. Ik this is the last Intel CPU for current socket but it's not like I'll have to change my CPU in a year, but Intel's current track record hasn't been so great either so idfk
Also, is the RAM and SSD good, I did look them up, they're not bad but some people have said they faced certian issues. So I'd like to get your advice.
Thanks for helping :)
