I have to pause. As convenient as this is, every other meal has been awful in quality. The protein has been terrible. We’ve been getting some awful cuts of beef and chicken. If the protein isn’t bad, then the vegetables are going bad instead. I’m tired of tossing the dice with my meal kits lately.
Hopefully they do some quality control and improve some things
We recently came back from a stay in Kansas City that we cut short. We ended up checking out a day early. There were undisclosed cameras that went around the property, which would have been fine, but I’ve wish I would’ve known about them instead of discovering it at 6am when I am having a cup of coffee. It’s a little unnerving to look up and realize there’s one pointed right at your face.
We had zero control over the temperature and the house was freezing! There were several locked doors that we could not go in, so I’m assuming the thermostat was behind one of those. I’m pretty sure they’re were trying to freeze us out, it was 90° outside and most of us would rather stay outside because it was just too cold inside. Also uncomfortable, since cameras were staring at us and so were the neighbors.
Finally, we had to pay a pricey cleaning fee, which also would have been ok if I didn’t have to do chores. I get cleaning up after ourselves and taking out the trash. I don’t understand being asked to strip all the beds.
And it was in that moment when I was pulling off pillowcases that I realized I’d rather just pay for a hotel from now on. I’ve been seeing more and more of these complaints when it comes to rentals I’m starting to get why this industry is dying.
My sister and I are taking my nieces and some friends down to KC on Sunday for several days and we were going to go to World of Fun/Oceans. But after monitoring the park, it appears that Ocean’s seems to be closed, Fury if the Nile is closed and there are consistently 4 to 6 coasters always closed, so I don’t see the point.
I’m looking for some alternative ideas. I know I can take them shopping, but I know they were kinda hoping to tan and swim a bit too.
Any chance of Devon covering the BAM situation. I am very interested in his opinion.
I’m actually really mad, I had add-ons this month…. several. I have never had this happen to me. I have been an ipsy member for years now. I’m waiting for their customer care to get back to me. They have a ticket open.
Edit: IPSY has responded to my issue and they are sending me a replacement.
