Getting Potenza + Rejuran + Juvelook Volume all in one session tomorrow -Day 5&6 Review

Update: Getting Potenza + Rejuran + Juvelook Volume all in one session tomorrow -Day 0 Review : r/KoreaSeoulBeauty

Hey everyone! Quick update on the triple combo I did (Potenza + Rejuran + Juvelook Volume in one session) — thank you again to everyone who commented on my first post 🙏

Where I'm at now (day 6):

  • Bruising is completely gone at this point
  • The pinpoint marks from Potenza have fully disappeared — can't even tell with makeup on
  • Saw some friends and none of them noticed I'd had anything done until I told them... but they DID say my skin looked glowy 👀 which honestly made my day

The one thing I wasn't expecting:
First couple of days I broke out with a few small pimples here and there. Did some reading and apparently Potenza can temporarily trigger breakouts since it works on the pores/sebum lines — so that tracked with what people mentioned before my treatment. It's already stopped though, skin's calmed down completely.

Overall recovery went way smoother than I expected going in with 3 treatments at once, and the "glow" people talk about with Rejuran/Juvelook seems to be showing up faster than I thought too.

Still curious — anyone else notice the glow this early (like within a week)? Or did yours take longer to show up?

Getting Potenza + Rejuran + Juvelook Volume all in one session tomorrow -Day 0 Review

update: survived all 3 🙏 https://www.reddit.com/r/KoreaSeoulBeauty/s/d20amSd7qt

okay so I did it — Rejuran (hand injection) + Potenza (N tip) + Juvelook Volume all in one sitting. here's the honest breakdown: order: it actually went Rejuran → Potenza → Juvelook, not device first like I expected. I asked the doctor why they don't inject skin boosters through the potenza needles (heard some clinics do that) and he said it causes more product loss doing it that way, so they inject first then use potenza separately. made sense to me.

pain ranking (worst to least): Rejuran >>> Potenza > Juvelook. rejuran genuinely hurt SO bad even with numbing cream on, I full on cried twice lol. this was my 3rd time getting rejuran and the pain has never gotten better for me personally, some people just feel it more I guess. potenza was painful but manageable, more startling than agonizing, and I didn't cry for that one at least 😭 juvelook volume for my hollow cheeks was honestly the easiest of the three.

staff/doctor: this is what got me through it tbh. the doctor kept checking in and comforting me mid-rejuran, and the nurse said something like she'd be screaming way louder than me if it were her — which sounds small but genuinely made me feel so much less embarrassed about crying lol. the doctor also really listened when I mentioned my hollow cheeks concern and designed the juvelook placement around that specifically, which I appreciated.

right now (day 0): face is red, swollen, and full of tiny injection marks (very precise/dense pattern from the embo technique, not sloppy at all) but I can already tell the volume situation in my cheeks is better even with the swelling. can't wait to see it once it settles.

verdict so far: would I do all 3 in one day again? honestly... yes, but go in knowing rejuran is no joke pain-wise regardless of numbing cream. worth having someone doing hand-holding energy for you that day lol will update again in a few days once swelling goes down!

Getting Potenza + Rejuran + Juvelook Volume all in one session tomorrow — what order is right + any tips?

I've been going back and forth on this for weeks 😭 First I was deciding between Potenza + Juvelook OR Potenza + Rejuran… and somehow ended up booking all three. Appointment is tomorrow!

For anyone who's done a combo like this:

  1. What order does it usually go in? I read that the device (Potenza) comes first, then injectables — is that right?
  2. Is all three in one day too much? Or totally normal?
  3. Any aftercare tips? Stuff you wish you'd known — downtime, what NOT to do that night, how long the redness lasts, etc.

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of nervous 😨 three things at once sounds like a lot lol. I'll come back and post an honest update after — wish me luck ㅠㅠ

Switched from Rejuran to Potenza + Juvelook last minute — how bad is the downtime?

Following up on my last post (Rejuran vs Potenza + Juvelook combo — couldn't decide lol). I'd actually decided to just stick with Rejuran, but then I went digging and couldn't really find solid reasoning behind the "you need at least 3 sessions, once a month" thing clinics always say? Like it's always presented as the rule but I couldn't find what it's actually based on.

Anyway, now that it's getting hotter my whole pore + skin texture situation is bugging me, so I switched plans and booked the Potenza + Juvelook combo instead.

I scheduled it for next Friday specifically to give myself downtime over the weekend — for anyone who's done this combo, how was the downtime for you? When were you comfortable going out in public again?

First lip filler after years of failed lip tattoos — 3 days in and honestly emotional

Okay I've been lurking in this sub forever and finally have something to share.

Background: My whole face works pretty well together except my lips have always been really small relative to everything else. There's this big empty space between my nose and lips that I've been self-conscious about for years. I tried lip tattoos multiple times to make them look wider — and don't get me wrong, the color was nice, but it did literally nothing to address the actual proportions. I'd basically given up on the idea of fixing it.

Finally pulled the trigger: I agonized over which clinic to go to for weeks (Korean clinic scene is overwhelming, there are SO many options). When I finally went in:

  • Zero waiting time, got brought back immediately
  • No aggressive upselling AT ALL — I was honestly braced for it and it never came
  • Staff was genuinely kind, not the fake-customer-service kind
  • The doctor actually took time to map the design with me and kept checking in about pain during the injections
  • Most importantly — he was super honest that you can't get full widening in one session. He said if I keep coming back consistently, we can build toward the shape I actually want, and told me not to give up on the result 🥺

3 days post:

  • Almost no bruising (was bracing for it)
  • Swelling was minimal which is funny because I was actually hoping for MORE swelling lol — I want the fuller look and I'm a little nervous about how much will go down 😂
  • The shape is already looking better than I imagined

I'm planning to keep coming back for the build-up sessions. Genuinely happy I finally did this after years of trying to fake it with tattoos.

Questions for the lip filler community:

  1. For people who built up over multiple sessions — how long did you space them out? My doctor said 2-4 weeks between but I've seen people online wait longer
  2. Anyone else have the "I wanted MORE swelling" experience post-filler?? Or is that just me being unhinged 🫠
  3. For widening specifically — how many sessions did it take before you saw the proportion shift you wanted?
  4. Did you have lip tattoos before filler too? Any interaction issues, or was it fine?

Happy to answer anything if you're considering it!

Rejuran vs Potenza + Juvelook combo — can't decide what to do next

I've been getting Rejuran regularly and it's definitely helped my skin, but I recently saw a post here where someone said Rejuran did nothing for them but switching to Potenza + Juvelook completely transformed their skin. Now I'm second-guessing myself lol

My main goal is that glass skin look — like clear, even, no texture. Rejuran has been good but I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something better?

Has anyone switched from Rejuran to Potenza + Juvelook or tried both? Would love to hear your experience! 🥺

Semi-permanent eyeliner was genuinely one of the best beauty decisions I've made

Going in for a touch-up tomorrow and honestly can't believe I waited so long to do this.

I got semi-permanent eyeliner done a while back and the difference it's made to my daily routine is kind of insane. I used to spend so much time trying to get my liner even, and even then it never looked as clean as this. Now I wake up, and my eyes just... look like that. No effort.

The thing I didn't expect was how good it looks with no makeup on. I do lash perms too, and the combo of permed lashes + semi-permanent liner gives this really natural but put-together look that I could never achieve with regular makeup. Like "I woke up like this" but actually real ㅋㅋ

Also — and this is kind of personal but maybe useful for someone — I have slightly uneven eyes, and my artist was able to adjust the liner thickness on each side to balance them out. That alone was worth it.

Going back tomorrow to also get my eyebrows done for the first time. I have naturally thick brows so I never really felt like I needed it, but I want just the tail extended slightly. Curious to see how it turns out!

Has anyone else done brow tattoo just for the tail/extension? Would love to hear how it held up over time.

Went down a lip filler rabbit hole and now I'm considering under-eye treatment too??

So I've been researching lip fillers in Cheongdam / Sinsa (specifically looking for boutique clinics that do proper lip design consultations, not the factory-style ones) and somehow ended up in a whole rabbit hole about under-eye treatments too.

Someone mentioned I should look into lower blepharoplasty for dark circles but honestly surgery just isn't for me — I'm strictly a no-knife person. So now I'm trying to figure out what non-surgical options are actually worth it for the under-eye area.

I've been looking at Juvelook Volume since it seems to target hollowness and dark circles without being too intense, but I'm not sure if that's the best option or if there's something better out there.

Has anyone had any under-eye filler or booster treatments done in Korea? Would love to know what worked for you — and if it's something that can realistically be done same-day as a lip filler appointment! 🙏

Seoul lip filler recs — domestic vs imported and where to go in Sinsa/Gangnam area?

So I've been seriously considering getting lip filler done in Seoul and I'm a bit torn on the domestic vs imported filler debate!

From what I've gathered, domestic fillers like Chaeum, Soonpure, or Atiere are significantly cheaper but I don't see as much English content about them — are they actually comparable in terms of longevity and safety? Or is it worth splurging on Juvederm/Restylane?

My main goal is horizontal expansion (I have quite a narrow lip width) with a natural, customized look — not the overdone pout. So finding a doctor who actually takes time to design based on your face rather than a one-size-fits-all approach is really important to me.

Would love recs for smaller boutique clinics around Sinsa or Cheongdam where the consultation feels personal. Any experiences welcome!

spent way too much money on skin boosters in korea, you're welcome

ok. so tried 4 skin boosters in Korea so you don't have to (part 1: hydration & repair)

ok so basically i have dry sensitive skin that breaks out at literally anything and i'd been losing elasticity way earlier than i'd like lol. barrier repair was my main thing. ended up trying a bunch of skin boosters over the past year and here's what actually happened

Rejuran ok this one HURT. like genuinely did not expect it to be that bad. but honestly the results were good enough that i'd probably do it again... after mentally preparing for like a month. my skin felt way less reactive and more resilient after so for sensitive skin girlie it did its job

Juvelook THE NASOLABIAL FOLD IMPROVEMENT WAS IMMEDIATE. i'm not even exaggerating i saw a difference within days which like... never happens?? hydration was also really good. lowkey my fav just for the instant results alone

Rejuvelook (Rejuran + Juvelook combo) thought this would be the ultimate power move but honestly idk. couldn't really tell if it was that much better than doing them separately. probably just gonna do them individually next time, leaning towards Rejuran again since barrier is still my main thing

CellREDM haven't tried this one yet but it's literally next on my list. it's different from the others bc it doesn't just stimulate collagen — it replenishes your skin's actual structural components directly. sounds intense in a good way lol

anyway hope this helps!! might do a part 2 on lifting if anyone's curious — ulthera, thermage etc 👀 lmk
