So I have a genuine question. A friend works in an office where the AC is used only for part of the day because of electricity costs. The rest of the time it's mostly fans trying their best against 40°C+ weather.

Is this actually common in Ahmedabad offices, or is my friend just collecting character development points?

How does your office handle the heat? Full-day AC, limited hours, or the classic "sit closer to the fan and pray" strategy?

I genuinely want to know if all companies in Ahmedabad are like this 😭

No proper sick leave, no paid leave, six working days, and if you get sick and take even half a day off your salary gets deducted.

People don’t come to office sick because they want to. They come because they literally cannot afford not to.

Like Being sick should not feel like a financial penalty.

I’m an interior designer and mainly need a laptop for:

- 3D modelling & rendering

- Software like SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, V-Ray, etc.

- Video editing and digital/design work as well

My budget is around ₹1.5 lakh.

I recently saw the ASUS TUF F16 around that range, but I’m not sure if ASUS is the best option or if HP/Lenovo would be better for long-term performance and rendering work.

Would really appreciate suggestions from people actually using these laptops professionally. Which brand/model would you recommend and why?
