Am I building a golden turd?

https://moxfield.com/decks/8Cstrl-T0EOmPzDSELQqcA

I've been building a B4 Esper deck and wanted some opinions. I'm an MTG amateur at best, for reference I played a bit 25 some odd years ago, and the commander format didn't even exist. My interest has recently been reignited and after purchasing a couple of precons I wanted something substantially more powerful. Im wondering now if I'm building an expensive deck that won't really see much play. After reading through a lot of posts, I'm getting the impression that, for casual play, B3 is the sweet spot.

Id love to hear feedback good or bad, about the deck or my poor choices relating to expensive cardboard. Be gentle. Lol

PS5 Repair - looking for recommendations

Hey all,

I have a badly overheating PS5 and I'm looking to have it serviced, ideally somewhere that can replace the thermal paste or whatever liquid metal shenanigans Sony has in there. Wondering if anyone has had experience with, or recommendations for a local electronics repair shop that would take on this task in a timely manner?

EmberLedger - Profession Alt Tracking Addon (Major Visual Update)

🔥 EmberLedger - Profession Alt Tracking Addon

Major Update & Visual Overhaul

I haven’t posted about EmberLedger since the original 1.0 release, but the addon has gone through a massive amount of cleanup, optimization, UI polish, and feature refinement since then.

EmberLedger is a lightweight Retail WoW addon built for players managing:

  • profession alts
  • concentration crafting
  • Artisan Moxie
  • Imbued Mulch
  • gathering sessions
  • cooldown management across multiple characters

⚡ Lightweight By Design

A lot of effort has gone into keeping EmberLedger lightweight and practical:

  • hidden windows avoid unnecessary refresh work
  • disabled systems stop processing entirely
  • action bar refreshes are gated
  • event-driven updates are preferred wherever possible
  • session history pruning prevents unnecessary data bloat
  • repeated cleanup and optimization passes throughout development

Real-world WoW CPU profiling has consistently shown very low usage during normal gameplay.

  • 🤖 AI Disclosure

EmberLedger was developed with significant AI assistance, but all major systems, cleanup passes, optimization work, visual redesigns, and gameplay decisions were manually reviewed and iterated on heavily over time.

The goal has never been to pump out “AI slop.”

The goal has been building a genuinely useful, clean, low-clutter profession utility addon.

EmberLedger - A Profession Alt Tracker for Concentration, Imbued Mulch, and Farming Sessions

Before anyone asks: yes, this project was entirely vibe coded.

I have absolutely no programming background and realistically do not have the time to properly learn Lua/UI development at the level required to make an addon like this from scratch. EmberLedger was built through a ridiculous amount of iteration, testing, breaking things, fixing things, redesigning the UI, and slowly turning the addon I had in my head into something that actually works.

It started as a simple idea to combine a concentration tracker, an Imbued Mulch tracker, and a stripped-down farming/session tracker. It has now turned into a profession utility addon aimed mostly at people managing multiple profession alts.

Screenshot 1 - Full Layout

What EmberLedger Does

EmberLedger is designed to help profession-focused players quickly see which characters need attention and how their current farming/session run is going.

It currently tracks:

  • Profession concentration across characters
  • Configurable concentration alert thresholds
  • Imbued Mulch cooldowns
  • Session time
  • Gold earned this session
  • Gold per hour
  • Loot gathered during the current session
  • Useful profession/action buttons

Profession Tracking

The main tracking window shows your characters, profession abbreviations, concentration values, and Imbued Mulch status. The concentration colors scale based on the threshold you set in the options, so the addon can highlight characters that are actually worth checking instead of just showing raw numbers.

The window also has a small action bar for convenience buttons like Imbued Mulch, Resilient Seed, and other supported utility actions.

Screenshot 3 - Session Tracking Window

Session Tracking

The session window tracks your current farming/session progress. It shows:

  • Session time
  • Total gold gained
  • Gold per hour
  • A scrolling chronological loot feed
  • Item icons, quantities, and values

The goal was to keep this lightweight and useful without turning it into a huge gold-making suite. It is meant to answer “how is this session going?” at a glance.

Screenshot 4 - Launcher

Launcher

The launcher is a compact movable display that can show things like:

  • Characters ready for concentration
  • Imbued Mulch ready or next cooldown
  • Session rate
  • Session total
  • Session time

You can toggle these lines in the options panel depending on how much information you want visible.

Options

The options panel currently includes:

  • Window opacity
  • Launcher opacity
  • Session opacity
  • Concentration threshold
  • Main window scale
  • Session window scale
  • Launcher display toggles
  • Window display toggles
  • Action bar toggle
  • Window locking
  • Reset windows
  • Reset session
  • Reset hidden characters

Current Status

This is currently a beta build, not a polished v1.0 release. Everything appears to be working on my end, but I fully expect edge cases because this addon evolved through a lot of testing and iteration rather than being built by someone who actually knows what they are doing.

The areas I would especially appreciate feedback on are:

  • Lua errors
  • Session tracking accuracy
  • Items being tracked that should not be tracked
  • Imbued Mulch detection
  • Action buttons
  • Window scaling/positioning
  • Pricing behavior
  • General UI feedback

Final Note

I know “AI coded addon” is going to make some people skeptical, and honestly, fair enough. I am not pretending this was made by an experienced addon developer. I am just someone who wanted a specific profession utility addon to exist and kept iterating until it did.

Feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and criticism are welcome.
