I recieved a lumbar puncture medical procedure, and it left a hole in my dura that has not healed, leaving my spinal fluid to leak. I've had 3 epidural blood patches to try and stop the leak, but so far im still waiting for healing. I cant be out of bed for more than a few minutes. It causes head pain when upright, dizziness, brain fog, etc. My last patch with with fibrin glue. I had an involuntary leg jerk in my sleep due to nerve irritation that was very sudden and was so strong my leg jumped off the bed. That was on day 6. I now feel worse than I did pre patch. Ill be 11 days out tomorrow. Before this patch, I didnt have the instant head pulling as soon as I get out of bed and instant dizziness. My question is did I blow my patch, or is it a coincidence that I feel bad after my leg jumped? I know some people say it can take time, especially fibrin patches. But I just cant help but feel like i blew my patch.
