My 3 year single-versary is coming up! How should I celebrate?

Celebrating three blissful years of quiet evenings without someone’s dusty and literally crusty son getting on my damn nerves and doing whatever the fuck I want.

It was some time in September—had a whole lot going on, like preparing to go to court to sue for injuries from an accident, so I don’t remember the exact date. That just means I celebrate all month 💅

Give me your ideas, ladies!

Hello! Looking for some interesting people from around the world to talk with, and maybe make some real friends.

Stuff I like: all kinds of different crafts, books, music, going to the opera, being outdoorsy-ish, tattoos, art, pets, learning new skills, plants, puzzles

I get to raw dog peri now 😑

Second round of blood clots in my lungs while on HRT. I had blood clots over a year ago after starting estrogen and progesterone, and now have them again while on just progesterone. My doc said progesterone was safer than estrogen, but here I am.

I’m just annoyed and venting. If anyone has any advice, I’d appreciate it.

UPDATE: To answer questions that are commonly being asked—no, I have not been tested yet for any hypercoaguable disorders. I’m seeing my PCP tomorrow and asking for ALL THE THINGS. I don’t know of any family history of clot disorders, but I have been tested for lupus before since my Mom has it and was negative. I have had COVID in the past, but not recently.

I would have no reason to think I was sensitive to hormones since I took hormonal BC for many years when younger and had no issues. For HRT, I was on the lowest dose to start with the patch and got clots about a month later. I was on 5mg once a day of norethindrone (Gallifrey) for progesterone. I had stopped P after the first round of clots, but felt miserable and my doc assured me it was safe, so I started P again around October-November. I’ve had a nagging feeling in my lungs since January, but I was sick a lot over the winter so just chalked it up to that. I tested for COVID multiple times each time I was sick and tests were negative.

As for marijuana—I have absolutely nothing against it, it’s legal where I live, and I’m glad it’s helpful for some of you, but it’s a no for me personally due to the nature of my work.

At this point, anyone’s guess is as good as mine. Thank you all so much for the support, suggestions, and info—I have a lot to talk to my doc about tomorrow. So much love and appreciation to you all 💛💛💛
