Made my second batch too soon - starter liquid not powerful enough?

I got some starter and scoby from a neighbor last Sunday and got my first batch going a week ago (I used 2 cups starter and 2L sweet tea). It was really cooking and by Wednesday I got impatient and bottled it(!) reserving 3 cups back to make a gallon of a new batch. My F2 tastes great if a little sweet but now I’m feeling a little nervous that I have an underpowered starter leftover in this huge gallon of kombucha going in my new F1. My pellicle continues to grow and it continues to lighten in color and change in taste - but am I opening myself up to food safety concerns by having a weak brew with a potentially too-high pH? Should I toss in some more of my neighbor’s starter (or some of my finished F2 bottled brew? It had peach and mango syrup, so mostly sugar but bits of fruit fiber and pulp).

Mysteries with multiple POVs of the same events

About 25 years ago, I fondly remember watching a few episodes of a show called Boomtown. It very likely does not hold up, but I remember it being unique because it told the same story from multiple perspectives throughout the episode. By the end, all the parts came together in a satisfying conclusion. I’m looking for mystery novels that scratch that same itch. It is surprisingly hard to Google because many books feature different POVs - but what I’m looking for in particular is different perspective of the same event and/or nonlinear storytelling.

Hex Head Bits?

I would love to have a set of hex head bits in addition to Allen wrenches for IKEA furniture assembly, etc. I know that there is a 2” Railer set on Amazon that folks like, but does HF have anything like this? Ideally would be 2” or longer.

My understanding is that these kinds of bits are maybe not as common as hex head sockets, correct? Am I better off buying some long reach hex sockets and using an adapter for a drill? Or am I thinking about this the wrong way?

Getting back on finasteride after discontinuing due to mild ED symtoms

I got off finasteride 6 months ago when I started experiencing some mild erection difficulties. My doctor suggested I try quitting fin but also started me on daily 5mg cialis with the option to take an additional 1-3 before sex. The cialis has been great, and both my wife and I are huge fans.

Now that I am enjoying the effects of cialis, I have considered going back on oral finasteride (I have tried topical fin in the past but had a bad reaction to the carrier solution). I’m wondering if the cialis will offset the effects of the finasteride. Anyone tried this and have anything to report?

Avallon Wine Cooler Not Cooling - Compressor and Fan Run

I have an Avallon wine fridge that is not getting cold. The compressor and fan are running (although the fans in the back of the fridge are not). The copper lines on one side of the compressor are warm but on the other side they are room temperature. I assume this points to an issue with the compressor and/or the refrigerant? Is this something I can DIY, or am I SOL?
