Lag issue

I have GFiber that I have connected via a cable to my Samsung smart tv. I’m also running the app on my iPad.

Here is my problem. I’m running the NFL RedZone channel on my iPad and have the Dallas game on my tv on my Fox channel. When the RedZone channel goes to the Dallas game it’s 30 seconds to a minute ahead of my tv

Anybody know what’s going on??

Edit: RedZone had the Cowboy game at 6:00 left in the quarter tv was at 6:45 left

How is Outback Steakhouse doing there now

I was just watching a video on the decline of Outback Steakhouse here in the states which brought back memories of going there while I was living in Korea. I recall seeing the first ones there in like 2002-2003, by 04 they were everywhere and were packed. I remember waiting an hour for a table at one in Gwangju.

By the time I left in 2014, a lot of the locations were closing and business was down. That was also the time when TGI Fridays, Benigains and Tony Romas all closed after doing incredible business in the 90’s and 00’s

So is Outback still a thing in Korea now? Are they even there?

iPhone login problems

I had to change my password for my GFiber account today, which I did through the GFiber app. I’ve had no problems changing it on my iPad or my laptop. However, for some reason when I try and enter it on my iPhone 14 pro, I keep getting the message “incorrect password” I’ve powered my phone on and off several times, uninstalled my network then reinstalled it in settings still no luck.

Anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

Idea schools, how are they

I was looking to get back into high school teaching after taking a few years off to be an adjunct at ACC (I’m secondary certified in Texas). One of the few schools that has expressed an interest in me is Idea public schools. I know they are a charter school which I know can be problematic. Based on some research I did, I heard they didn’t have a great reputation 15 years ago or so.

Just wondering if anything has changed over the years. Thanks

Italian restaurant in North Raleigh

My father wants to go to an Italian restaurant for lunch tomorrow but the only place I know in our neighborhood of North Raleigh by Millbrook HS is Cristo's but they don't open until 4:00 on Sundays. The only other place I can think of is Milton's at Strickland and Six Forks.

Any other suggestions?

thanks

Can someone explain this to me

This just dawned on me but can someone explain why in North Carolina you have to be 21 bet on sports yet you have to be only 18 to play the lottery?

Aren’t both state sanctioned gambling?

Just wondering

Finding out my job today got canceled as I pulled into the parking lot

A bit of a rant. Got a sub assignment for today a couple of weeks ago at a school near my house. I arrive at the school at 6:45 this morning (report time is between 6:50 and 7:00). I pull into the parking lot then go to red rover to check where the teacher’s parking spot is. I discover the assignment is no longer there and the system is showing me jobs for today (all special ed or at schools 35-40 minutes from this school). Im like “WTF?” I go to my email only to find out the system sent me an email at 6AM saying the job was canceled. What really sucked was first thing I did when I got up at 5:30 is check my email, and there was nothing there

I’m like if you were going to cancel the job, especially one that has been planned for a couple of weeks could you at least do it the night before so I can either get another job or reset my alarm 😡😡😡

A double whammy today was after subbing I was assigned to referee a high school soccer game. Well it turns out that today we got our first significant rain in over 2 months so instead of making $200 today I made nothing ughhh!!!!
