Are AI crawlers changing technical SEO more than people expected?

Feels like technical SEO conversations are shifting away from just optimizing for search engines and more toward how AI systems actually fetch and interpret site data.

A lot of sites are technically “SEO optimized” but still seem messy from a machine-readable standpoint once AI crawlers hit them. Especially with inconsistent structure, weak entity signals, fragmented content, or missing context around pages. Curious if anyone here is actively adjusting technical setups/workflows with AI crawlers in mind yet, or if it still feels too early.

Do you think forums are becoming more important for brand perception now?

Lately I’ve noticed that when people research products or companies, they end up trusting forum discussions and Reddit threads more than official marketing pages.

What’s interesting is that the same opinions tend to repeat over and over once a certain narrative starts forming around a brand. A few strong discussions can shape how people talk about something for months.

Makes me wonder how many companies are actually paying attention to those conversations consistently versus only looking at analytics dashboards and reviews.

What AI tools are actually useful for understanding customer sentiment?

I’ve tested a bunch of AI tools lately and most of them seem focused on generating content, summaries, or dashboards.

What’s been harder to find are tools that actually help understand how people talk about brands/products across forums and social platforms in a useful way.

Not just counting mentions, but identifying recurring complaints, positive sentiment shifts, patterns in recommendations, etc.

Curious what tools people here are actually using consistently instead of trying once and forgetting about.

I’ve been noticing that Reddit gives way more useful feedback than most surveys or review platforms lately. People are way more specific about what they like, hate, or wish brands would improve.

The problem is keeping track of everything once discussions start spreading across different subs. By the time you find one thread, there are already five more talking about the same thing.

Curious if other people here actually monitor Reddit consistently or just check it occasionally when researching audiences/products.

Reddit has become one of the biggest places where people openly talk about products and companies, but tracking those conversations still feels weirdly manual.

I’ve tried keyword alerts and basic social listening setups, but they miss a lot of context. A mention alone doesn’t really tell you whether people are recommending your brand or criticizing it.

Curious what workflows or tools people here are using for Reddit monitoring specifically.

I’ve been trying to figure out how people are monitoring what’s being said about their brand on Reddit without manually digging through threads all day.

I can track basic mentions, but the hard part is understanding context, like whether people are actually recommending something or just mentioning it casually.

Curious what others are using or if you’ve found a workflow that doesn’t turn into a time sink.

Been looking into AI tools for tracking brand sentiment and visibility, and I’m not fully convinced.

They seem great at summarizing data, but things like sarcasm, mixed opinions, or context still feel off sometimes. And visibility metrics look clean, but do they really reflect real awareness?
