I hope this is the right thread, but it’s been almost 5 years since my wedding and I want a canvas print of my husband and I. Realistically, I can only get one, but I don’t know which one… My only regret with my photographer was she was too good at her craft 😂

I don’t know if this is really unhinged, but I always get second looks when I suggest this: LED candles. Just getting one has been SO helpful with both my first and second babies for late night diaper changes, 2am feeding, etc. The warm glow of a faux flame I swear puts me in a more stable mood and it’s something that won’t wake up your partner and will keep baby in a better mood than the blue light of a flash light.

So I didn’t realize this pattern isn’t common! So here’s the tea:
You have a 5.5” block, cut out a kite shaped out (I used my husband’s old khakis, my aunt would use jeans), place the kite on the background (no adhesive required), then take a scrap of fabric and sew along the kite. You can either finger press or iron the scrap back and keep on until you run out of room.
I’ve been told this is similar to a spider web pattern, but I like that this is a smaller scale. I also like that it’s basically an homage to all the past quilts and projects that you’ve done through the years
My aunt who passed away LOVED doing scrappy stars to lean out her stash, and now I see why ❤️ though sometimes I find myself MAKING scraps instead 😂🫣
Most random combination but my son LOVES whales and bees.
For reference, each whale is 12”x24”, there are 22 bumblebees, and I can’t math to save my life so the spacing for the bees is off but he’s three so he doesn’t care 😅🤦🏻♀️
Personally, I can forgive bad writing or plot if the art is good. And let me tell you I hate that for myself! So many great comics stopped because the art style was bad or distracting, so many bad stories trudged through because the art is well done.
It’s been in my recommended for MONTHS now, and I’m only on episode 24 but daaaamn! It’s basically Ouran Highschool Host Club but make it royalty. Totally in love and shall be up until 4am binging 😂
