Docker Compose 5min tutorial

Wondering if there is a short tutorial on Docker Compose? Have been looking around and can't really find anything...

Something that tells me things like: Where to put files, both config + data, and specifically storing LARGE amounts of data if using something like Nextcloud/Zoneminder etc ; running multiple apps using compose ie where to keep the yaml, correct way to name the yaml, permissions on directory/files... etc.

Just basically, the basics to get up and running with compose inititally, and maybe learn some of its workings.. Looking at maybe running up Jellyfin/Nextcloud/Zoneminder/HomeAssistant, to start...?

Thanks.

Can't join the community forums

As above, am trying to Signup at https://discuss.cachyos.org using a hotmail email.

Have done the signup thing (24hours ago), and it tells me they have sent an email to the correct address, but, no... have clicked resend several times, and still no...

Logged in to my hotmail account (web), and receiving a bunch of other emails, but nothing from Cachy. Yes, definitely have checked junkmail, and any other options - nothing...

Never had issues receiving anything else through there, but nothing shows at all...

Can't contact them directly, as that requires I leave a message in the forum!! (Catch22, anyone??)

What channels is my Flint2 using

Is there any way (apart from a separate scanner), to determine from the Flint2 router interface, what channels the 2,4/5ghz bands are using?

(Probably obvious, can't find for looking...)

Thanks.

Editing a text file

Playing with .m3u files (music playlists), and wanting to edit them, preferably on my phone.

As they (obviously) end in m3u, if I go into a file manager app, and select open with, my only choices are music programs.

At this point, I rename the file to .txt, edit, then rename back to .m3u.... (Doesn't seem difficult, but it's a PITA!)

Is there any way I can edit directly with a text editor? Have several installed, but they don't come up as an option for editing an .m3u.

Thanks.
