Yesterday, the 6th, she had her kittens! She had four in quick succession, they started nursing, and we thought that was it. But, no! 2 more appeared within an hour. 6 is the final number. Everything went well and all are happy. As we guessed there was an orange in the bunch-2 actually! 2 all black, a tortie, and a gray tabby.

I was heading out from the boat launch to go fishing last week and a kid had waded out to cast. I could see the bike he had rode to the lake sitting on shore.
I asked, "How's fishing?"
