every month you get an automated bank statement pdf online.

I read online you can request an interim one but it takes a few days.

for example June 1st - July 5th?

will Scotia do that if I phone up or speak online?

It’s currently Saturday 4th July. I’m hoping to have my online pdf June statement by Monday 6th July.

is it likely to have been issued by then? Note online pdf not by post.!

I’m applying for Youth Mobility Scheme Visa for this I need to prove I’ve held 5000 Canadian dollars in account without dropping below for 28 days.

I’d like to simply print a statement June 3rd - 1st July.

When logging in on laptop and downloading a pdf and printing this it does not display my name and account number. Going to the bank and asking them to do it is exactly the same. Best I can do is get them to stamp it. But they are just pages with transactions no proof it’s my account.

if I wait for the June statement to come out it will have all the details and be a proper statement but It won’t have any of July on it.

How can I print a custom statement and have all my details on it?

Hi everyone I applied for Visa on 1st July. Biometrics will be on Monday 6th July.

i have 2 questions

- I have Junes Bank statement with 28 days as evidence. My understanding from reading Rules is this is fine I don’t need to show 1st July? it’s 28 Days and within 31 going back from 1st July is that correct?

- If 1st and 2nd June savings were under threshold but rest of month savings were above threshold and meets 28 and 31 day rule that’s fine. Is that correct?

I’d like to apply for a spouse visa after marrying my girlfriend. I’d like to apply just after next tax year May 2027.

Currently all my invoices come into a normal bank account mixed in with everything. so it’s a bit messy.

i read online it’s a good idea to open up a business account to make it clearer and easier for them when applying for the visa.

Problem is If i did it now first few months would be current bank account. Then say next 9 months in business account making it clearer. Not sure if I’d be making it even more complicated.

Is it worth setting it all up, does it make a difference?

you need to show you have savings in your account for 28 days. If for the month of June I’ve had the money in my account for 28 days. I then download and show Junes statement and Pay using the savings money on 1st July. Will this be accepted.

Google AI says this is fine as they will count 28 days backwards from 1st July. Even if I use savings to make the payment and go below threshold after.

I would like to fly my dog Edmonton in Canada to Amsterdam in Holland. The latest possible direct flights are at 17:45.

my main concern is the temperature. if it goes above 30 degrees dogs are not allowed to board.

I think I’d be pretty safe with the outside temperature however my main concern is the tarmac temperature as that can stay hotter for several hours. does anyone have experience and advice for this?

My girlfriend in Canada was arrested but had all charges dropped they were dangerous driving and failure to stop after accident. They did not even make it to court the case was closed before.

We have a written letter from her lawyer confirming this. We are working on getting proof from court and from police. It does not even show up on transcript in court.

She is 2 months pregnant now. we’d like her to apply for the YMS Visa on July 1st then she will have had money in account for 28 days prior.

From research I’ve seen the second you mention charges dropped it makes the application much slower. Priority service will likely not be honoured as it’s classified as a complex application with waivers it.

i was hoping she could fly out to live with me in UK by end of July/Start of August.

I made a post earlier today but did not explain things properly and people pointed out inconsistencies. I have spoke to girlfriend to clarify everything. I hope this is far better.

My girlfriend lives in Edmonton I live in Northern Ireland. She was being stalked by her ex for several months. he has been extremely violent in the past. He was trying to find where she lived so he would wait outside her work to try to follow her home.

In March 2026, her ex and his dad followed her from work as she drove away. she parked in a carpark. she was on phone to her friends and oblivious he parked directly behind her boxing her in. suddenly her door opens and he was trying to get her. She managed to hold onto the door as there were cars beside he had little room himself. this went on for a few minutes she screamed for him to stop and let go.

She got very distressed and started going forwards and back with the car. eventually it worked and her ex let go. bystanders started to surround the incident and exs dad convinced him to back off and leave.

My girlfriend drove away immediately. she drove to a police station. one of the bystanders had reported the incident. we are not sure what they said.

the police initially charged her with assault with a weapon. She phoned legal aid they advised her not to make a statement yet. Police then changed charges to dangerous operation and fail to stop after an accident. My girlfriend again refused to give a statement.

she was let go and a court date has been set for 6th June. After the incident my girlfriend applied for an emergency protection order which was granted and confirmed 9 days after. Ex is not allowed within 200 meters of where she lives or where she works.

Not relevant to case but our situation. My girlfriend is now pregnant with my child. She wants to relocate to NI. For the visa application we ideally want her charges dropped.

She has phoned several lawyers and has 2 that sound very competent and on Monday we intend to setup a consultation.

My hope is she can prove she was fleeing for her safety. She was not driving recklessly but defending herself and trying to escape a violent ex who was trying to grab her. Also that there was no accident and she didn’t flee from one.

The police officer mentioned a bystander made a recording but we don’t know what was recorded or if they have it.

Any advice or other things I need to consider please let me know.

There is quite a lot of info so I will try to summarise:

- My girlfriend split with ex Nov 2025

- They were together and lived together with exs father for 6 years. He started off very nice but deteriorated into a maniac.

- He or his father never worked she paid for everything

- He was abusive and at one point put her head through a wall.

- She left him after this but they got back together. This time he managed to restrain his violent outbursts but was incredibly mentally abusive.

- He still regularly attacked and beat up his father. A few times he would have mental episodes walking round the house with a knife saying he was going to kill his father.

- After leaving him he stalked her trying to find out where she lived for months. He called every day repeatedly.

March 2026

- I live in Northern Ireland and flew over in March 2026 and met my now girlfriend.

- The day before this ex and his father managed to follow her from work. She was in a bank car park. Ex parked behind her boxing her in. ex then tried to forcefully open the door to drag her out.

- There were people watching and his father managed to calm him down eventually he backed off. My girlfriend was distressed and drove off to a police station to report what happened.

- A bystander had filmed what had happened and called police.

- Police asked my girlfriend if she wanted to press charges. she was to kind and said no. she was asked for a statement. unfortunately her friends advised her as she was so distressed to make one another time. Her ex lied and said she did a hit and run. As a result the police said they have no choice but to charge her.

- She has a court date on 6th June.

- Whilst I was there we managed to get a restraining order against ex.

Pregnancy and relocating:

- She is now pregnant with my child.

- I live in Northern Ireland she would like to immediately relocate here permanently.

- We want to go with the Youth Mobility Scheme visa. but we can’t with charges and pending court case.

Plan:

- I’ve been doing research admittedly with google AI. I think the best strategy is to flip the charges onto ex.

- I’d like to get a lawyer for her. To go to the crown prosecutor and show she was a victim of of an assault and potential kidnapping.

- She’s now pregnant and wishes to permanently relocate.

- We would like speedily disclosure of video evidence.

- We have a barring order which helps prove she was the victim.

- It is not in the interest of the public to prosecute my girlfriend who was fleeing for her life.

- As she is pregnant we are on strict deadline. the visa is invalid if she gives birth and has dependants. Airlines will not let you fly in the third trimester. The visa takes time to process.

- If the prosecutions are willing to stay her charges that’s not good enough as visa will not accept that. we need charges completely withdrawn.

Any advice please give it to me.
