MLP is the best pro pickleball format change my mind

  1. it simulates rec play (defacto most popular format en masse), where you'll have various partners, and face a barrage of elements like wild benches, flexible strategies, and random chaos.

  2. it shows that every player has their ups and downs, and can't lean on their overpowered partner for guaranteed success.

  3. it entertains the crowds way more than wannabe-tennis PPA/APP, offers group alignment with local brands, and unites groups of players.

  4. its a novel and compelling answer to the lonely world of singles tennis, which is a vestige of past aristocracy--which clings to an outdated strategy of developing a powerful serve and following decorum etc etc

If you don't watch much Pro Pickleball, now might be a good chance to start: Bright/Patriquin v Waters/Khlif. Wild points, lots of yelling. Peak sport.

To any Pickleball Broadcast video directors, for my sanity, please stop switching cameras mid point.

Its very jarring to have an exciting point interrupted by a new angle. The points move too fast for a viewer's brain to recalibrate. Wait till the point is over or during serve routine. Please and thank you. And while I have your attention, please chroma the ball a different color if it blends with the court or lines too much. They're that yellow-green color for this exact reason :)

Mission Complete Screen Ideas: Keep chat open at score screen. Let build screen last forever or until player clicks ok.

When players have an epic or memorable run, they want to immediately gush about it in chat, and ogle each other's builds, not wait till ramrod.

Moluktula Gatekeeper is how NOT to design a boss.

Besides the fun moon basketball gimmick, this boss is an unreadable mess. No indication its blasting you until 50 spears hit you in the face. No idication spikes are impaling you until you've already been smacked.

This isn't a test of skill its a test of patience with how rng it is. Yuck

The main gripe i have with this awesome game is the monster pathing

Watching creepers fastforward swivel behind you when youre getting swarmed is daunting when yhey get steroids or my camera movement isnt fadt enough to keep up. Can we get the radius to where they zoom around behind you tuned up?

We’ve Finally Ascended

Dwarves are no longer encumbered by their poorly grown legs, now augmented with the latest rival tech we can now run with the antelopes. This is a buff.

Need help going Ambidextrous

Dominant (right) hand diagnosed with inoperable bone condition. Still works for hitting but weaker. I want to know if anyone has transitioned to other hand or both for any reason and did you figure anything out the hard way?

Game is not designed for walking (autosprint hotfix pls)

Apparently there is some kind of internal debate about whether to enable players to always run fast vs sometimes inexplicably walking in a game where shit is chasing you all the time.

This is absurd, unless there is some kind of technical limitation to making this happen.

I need to run fast to get to the green stuff. I need to run fast to hit the elevator button. I need to run fast to catch my teammates on late join. I need to run fast to res them becauus they werent running fast. I need to run fast to escape the planet thats trying to kill my ass, bur what i dont need: to walk and smell the mushrooms.

Leaving balls while at the NVZ

I’m 6 foot six. I take up a lot of court. I play big I hit big but I’m awful at leaving balls that are driven at my chest going well out and I’d like to fix that. What drills are available to train me, and is this something that more advanced players struggle with too?
