There is a building in England that has stood for 700 years. A medieval almshouse once tied to Robert Dudley and Queen Elizabeth I. Retired soldiers still live in it today. Most people will never get the chance to walk through a place like this.

So we brought it to you, in Apple Immersive Video.

We shot it on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive - the same camera Apple's own immersive films are made on - at the highest quality the format allows. 8K per eye, 3D spatial, 90fps, HDR, ASAF, full scale. You stand in the courtyard. Follow the same footstep of Queen Elizabeth I. You look up at 700-year-old timber. A local guide walks you through, room by room.

When I built this, I didn't expect a major cinema brand would notice. But RED was using Spatial Film at their NAB Show 2026 booth last week to showcase their brand new immersive livestream workflow.

I've watched the new "Elevated: New York" episode on my Vision Pro probably a hundred times last week. It hit me in a way I didn't expect.

I went to school in New York. I live in California now and I love it here. But part of my heart never left that city. The energy, the chaos, the way people move, the way the light hits the buildings in the late afternoon. Watching Elevated on Vision Pro brought it all back. For nine minutes I wasn't in my living room. I was home.

So my co-director Keeley and I did what felt right: we bought tickets, flew to New York, and captured the city the way WE see it.

We don't have Apple's budget or any budget at all. We can't hang a URSA Cine Immersive on a helicopter and fly all over Manhattan. But what we CAN do is find the places Apple's Elevated missed. Angles the helicopter can't reach. Quiet moments the aerial format never lingers on. And we got lucky... we were there to capture the aftermath of the February storm in New York (coming in Episode 4). A side of the city even New Yorkers don't experience every day.

Elevated is genuinely inspiring. That's what inspired us as storytellers. That's what we're trying to do with Spatial Film - bring you real places, real human perspectives, real pixels. Just be there. Just relax. Just see.
