What now? I don't wanna order another replacement set and face the same issue. I was thinking of using Xbox One stick replacements but they seem to have the same issues.

I'm also posting the anolog stick itself, because I've seen in online photos that anolog stick replacements seem to have a little sheath of sorts on em.

I accidentally screwed up and got a boombox that is way too old and has trouble reading burned audio CD's. Im not gonna sell it and dont really want to buy another unit, but any suggestions?

I flew too close to the sun and asked (and received) a 1991 SHARP GF-CD55 for my birthday, and while it plays commercial CD's just fine, it doesn't recognize the 700 MB audio CDRs i put in with WAV files. (It spins for a little bit before it gives me a error message)

This annoys me a little bit, because a lot of the stuff i listened to never got physical releases (and if they did, its vinyl, which im not a fan of.)

I did order some 650 MB CD's since that's what a lot of older forums say is the fix (ill burn them slowly just to be safe), and I hope they'll circumvent the issue, but those are becoming rarer by the day. Are there any other CD options I can use for my boombox or should i just call it in and solely buy CD's and record cassettes instead (because it can also do that but i like CD's more)

Yes, I know the sensible option is to just keep streaming but i like this new thing i just got and want to use it more.

Is there a decent website centered around archival photos of classic/vintage automobiles from around the world? Question

This used to never be a problem for me, but the main site i used to use, Classic Car Catalog, which had nearly every car model ever made from around 1910 to 1979, sadly, in 2024, some photos were copyrighted and forced the owner of the site to shut it down.

The only site so far to sort of scratch this itch for me is http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/, a photo archive of nearly every car, truck, bus, or tractor captured or produced for the Germans in ww2. But this doesn't fully satisfy me, since while its actually good for trucks and tractors, the auto section (mostly made up of captured cars from civilians and governments) is not as scaled out, and most Nazi effort would obviously target trucks, buses, and tractors, leaving the civilian car section a little barren and missing photos and descriptors for at least 2 or 3 models for every make that the owner of the site simply doesn't have.

Wikipedia doesn't quite have everything, and the articles it has on more niche brands might not even photos. Sure, i can just punch the model name into my search bar, but that gets annoying after repeating it for a while and i just wanna look at the car models.

(Steam, on WIndows) Right analog stick on my Sony PS1 controller only goes left and right.

Title says it all, i bought a ps2 to USB dongle, and steam recognizes it as a ps3 controller (which is fine), and while every button and the left analog stick work perfectly fine, the right analog stick only goes left to right, which isint good because the controller has no gyroscope. I tested it in a program that showed that the right stick also works fine, so i think its a problem on Steams end. Any suggestions? There apparently used to be some more options that might have fixed this a couple of years ago, but those are gone now.
