Kavi Misal

Kavi Misal , Chinchwad Gaon

Tried this one of the oldest misal (started way back in 1986) in Chinchwad Gaon opposite Jijau Paryatan Kendra.

Misal tasted descent, not too bad not too great. Very less matki and all you get is the taste of farsan. Not that spicy and oily, if you like your misal spicy then you can avoid. Also, if you like matki in misal then this is not the place for you. If you are good with decent no nonsense misal then this is the place for you.

Lot of locals were eating there which suggests the place is very popular amongst locals. The place wasn't that crowdy on Sunday morning.

Service is prompt, you will get your misal in no time. Ambiance is basic. Overall, worth a try once.

Mutton Raan @ Hotel Jai Tulja Bhavani Kedgaon Chaufula

Arguably the best mutton Raan.

Tried mutton Raan here along with Mutton Biryani. The place is dedicated to Mutton I must say.

They served grilled full leg of Sheep along with inhouse raan masala and ghee. Raan was very tasty. It was grilled to perfection. Mutton was falling off the bone.

Also, mutton biryani was very good in taste. Nothing fancy only rice and perfectly cooked mutton with flavours.

We also tried masala roti which was served with cheese. It was good.

Don't expect fine dine. They have separate family section as well. Do try if you are ready to travel around 50 km from the city for good food. Thank me later, you will not be disappointed at all.

Must visit place for mutton lovers. Highly recommended.

Food Of Mangaluru Model Colony

Visited this place for lunch. Tried multiple starters along with main course.

For starters we opted for prawns ghee roast, prawns butter garlic, chicken manglorian sukka, surmai tawa fry and pomfret masala fry.

All the starters tasted average. Nothing fancy about. Lot of masala was overpowering the taste of fish and meat.

Might be because of frozen stuff.

In main course we opted for prawns pollichathu, chicken gassi along with kori roti and appam. Main course was good. Gravy was thick, so didn't went well with kori roti. Appam was good. Ended our meal with brown rice and also had filter coffee which costed hundered rupees, way too high. Water was also charged thirty rupees.

Service was prompt. Seating wasn't that comfortable. Ambiance was good but in spite of having AC, they have to depend on fans.

Overall, you can avoid this place as it is not value for money.

Latpat Biryani, Hadapsar

Tried both mutton and chicken biryani here along with chicken alani.

Biryani tasted very good, strong flavour of khada masala. Rice was well cooked so as mutton and chicken.

Biryani here is not like typical Hyderabadi style, it is like Dindigul Thalappakatti where rice is cooked along with meat.

They use Seeraga Samba rice which is imported from Tamilnadu and also kept at the counter if you want to see. Don't try this biryani if you want your biryani in layers only like Hyderabadi. TBH you will feel like eating Masale Bhat with some chicken in it. But flavours are amazing. Good for anyone who want to explore some different food.

Chicken alani was not that great. Turmeric was overpowering the taste. They should use less turmeric. They also provide dahi kanda along with Biryani.

The biryani was served on banana leaf, quite a unique way of serving.

Service was prompt and quick. Overall, good option to try out for a different kind of biryani.

The name latpat is inspired from Jalgaon native dish latpat chicken.

They have their first outlet of this biryani in Baramati.

Bought LG G2 OLED 65 INCH TV in 2022. Suddenly I can see few dead pixels on the side of the tv. These are not visible from the distance. Is it normal? For how long display would last?
