How is life in NITs?

I was thinking of some branch in DTU or NSUT lekin kuchh logo se reddit pe bhi baat hui and was also lurking around their subs to kaafi kuchh off lg rha. Sb hi keh rhe the degrade ho gye h kaafi, + DTU bhi boht strict ho gya ekdum se, back fee, fail ho rhe, strict attendance. Koi family friend bhi bta rhe the udhar hire krne gye to under-skilled the log sirf 1 hire kia and all...... Mtlb pehele to wahi ka soch rha tha, ab boht logo se sunn lia h to mann nhi maan rha waha jaane ka. Campus life log kehte (here, log=family) ke usually NITs ki campus life best rehti h (IIT to milne se rha ab) kyunki huge campus aur log bhi pure desh se aate overall. To NITs me sabme hi same cheez h ya Top aur Mid walo me hi achha h? Curriculum kaisa rehta h, boht strict h kya cheezein ya manageable? Labs wagera? Researchaur Internships? Baaki NIT me overall competition, packages, fests and all kaise rehte h? In short yha bhi wahi cheezein to nhi aa jayengi jo avoid krna chahta??????
Bonus question: NIT Delhi to kaafi naya h, fir bhi itni cutoff high kyu aa rhi? Esa kya h waha 🫣 and MNIT ka bhi boht suna campus life ka, kaisa rehta waha? Electrical ki possibility h waha, but mech pakka
