Myra I swear to all things holy

I genuinely am so done w this season. My LI has only ever been interested in Trent, I’ve not pursued any other people, so tell me why now- my “bff” of the villa that I’ve basically blindly defended has just picked him?

Like it’s been nearly 5 weeks of waiting for new volumes to be released and each time I’m thinking “maybe this is the volume I get to couple up with Trent” but NO!!!!

I genuinely don’t even know if I can thug it out till the end, it would just feel shallow at that point.

Update to the Boss jumper I sold and had to have returned!!

All previous posts are on my profile for background.

She returned the item and paid shipping!!

There were concerns surrounding if she would return her worn one, which thankfully she didn’t. The item was returned in the same condition, however the lose threads were definitely not there when I sold it, but I’ll get over it.

I politely asked her if she wore it or tried it on to which she hurled abuse at me, but I’m at the point where I’m so over the situation.

A happy ending I guess? I have now relisted for a higher price (as reccomended by commenters on my previous posts).

UPDATE: Buyer claimed item was SNAD over small threads being loose, what do I do?

Earlier today I made a post asking for advice because I sold a Boss jumper (new with tags still attached) for £30 (RRP £189) and the buyer reported an issue which was some loose threads that are barely visible to the naked eye. I will attach images of the issue.

After that, messages were exchanged between myself and the buyer, I will past them here.

Me - “Hello, I’ve just seen your issue reported. I’m really sorry you aren’t happy with the item. However- claiming it is “significantly not as described” over two or three tiny threads sticking out that can very easily be fixed I believe is very unfair. The jumper was a Christmas gift that was stored under my desk in a bag and not touched unless for pictures and packaging, and I did not notice these threads at any point. The item is brand new with tags, as you can see, and as listed, so there is no issue in my item description. It would be ideal if we could handle this between the two of us, but if you are not willing to accept the item I will be disputing your complaint with Vinted with my images and video of me packaging the item. I look forward to hearing from you, thanks.”

Her - “Upon receiving the item, it is clear that it is not in new condition. The jumper has numerous loops and pulls all over the fabric, which are obvious signs of wear and use. In addition, the original tags are missing. The only tag attached appears to be one that can easily be removed and reattached, which does not demonstrate that the item is genuinely new with its original tags.

As the item does not match the description provided in the listing, it has been misrepresented. I purchased this jumper expecting a new item, but what I received is clearly not as described.

I would like to return the jumper and receive a full refund. I am very disappointed that an item can be listed as “new with tags” when its condition suggests otherwise.
In fact, I have pretty much the same jumper and after a year of wearing it is looking much better than the one you sent me.”

Me - “Hello. The item was received as gift and all tags that were on it when I got it are still attached. It has not once been worn, or even tried on- it was in a bag under my desk from when I received it to when I took pictures and packaged it.

I can only tell you in good faith that the item is brand new and never worn by anyone.

My only guess could be that during packaging or you opening it the fabric may have gotten snagged? However- these threads can be easily pulled back through, and you did get an absolute steal for what the item is.”

Following this message I chose to resolve the issue through accepting a return if she pays postage, as many suggested in my last post due to concern surrounding Vinted not siding with me.

She has since replied to this resolution saying…

Her - “Good evening,

I understand that you have agreed to the return, but I disagree with having to pay the return postage because the jumper arrived damaged and was not as described in the listing. Please provide a prepaid return label.
Otherwise, I will ask Vinted Support to review the case using the photos and evidence provided.
Moreover, I don't know where to return it”

I am at a total loss, this is my first ever issue with someone on Vinted. I’m scared they won’t side with me and I’ll lose out on both money which I would be relying on for the next week, and a brand new jumper which I’ve been told I sold for far too low a price. What on earth can I do?

First ever issue received on Vinted, what do I do?

I recently sold this item on Vinted and have received an issue from the buyer. If I contact Vinted will they side with me? I think the buyer is being extremely unfair.

UPDATE:

I sent the buyer this message…

“Hello, I’ve just seen your issue reported. I’m really sorry you aren’t happy with the item. However- claiming it is “significantly not as described” over two or three tiny threads sticking out that can very easily be fixed I believe is very unfair. She replied…

“Upon receiving the item, it is clear that it is not in new condition. The jumper has numerous loops and pulls all over the fabric, which are obvious signs of wear and use. In addition, the original tags are missing. The only tag attached appears to be one that can easily be removed and reattached, which does not demonstrate that the item is genuinely new with its original tags.

So I responded…

“Hello. The item was received as gift and all tags that were on it when I got it are still attached. It has not once been worn, or even tried on- it was in a bag under my desk from when I received it to when I took pictures and packaged it.

I would be more than willing to do a return if you could cover shipping.”

What more can I do? Or am I being scammed?
