I currently have Fedora installed on my PC. I was wondering if I could install the VMware 17 .bundle on Fedora, or should I make a new partition to install Ubuntu 26, then install VMware on Ubuntu?

Hey, bit of a serious talk.

I graduated last year, and you could say that my co-op experience was not successful. (Lots of interviews and no responses). This caused me to drop the co-op program. So I graduated without having formed any "networking" in my field.

I got a BA in Geomatics and an MA in Literature, but haven't had luck in months in finding job opportunities in those areas.

I emailed some of my professors, but most of their replies were the same: "The job market is bad at the moment".

I am just really in a place where most offerings that are advertised or that I can find are mostly AI remote contractor work (Which I do not trust). Other places where I applied do not reply to you if you were not picked for an interview, so I am left waiting with anxiety as weeks go by. This is not good in my mind, as more time passes, more useless I feel, and more desperate I fear my future is.

Does anyone know what that is or why it was flagged?

I have over 600 favourite artists. Is there a way to export favourites from Kemono into Pawchive so I don't have to hunt down each profile one by one?

edit: I ended up making a tmapermonkey script that automatically changes the artist URL from Kemono to pawchive, that speed up the transfer a lot!

This issue started happening recently. I have both the Grammarly Windows APP and the Chrome extension, and for the past week, I noticed that the Windows Bubble started to pop up when I am writing on Chrome. That is really inconvenient, as now, the words get double-highlighted, and the two menus keep overlapping.

I use both versions because the Chrome extension had better integration with text on the web, as the icon would appear on the bottom corner of the text box I would be typing, and the Windows app can access other applications, like Discord or Word (But not Libre Office for some reason)

When I try to add a Block List to the Windows App, it only lets me add individual websites, not the entirety of the Chrome App to the block list. I want to block all of Chrome so I can just use the Grammarly Extension instead of the App.

I found a Dell Inspiron 3500 from 1998, and I was wondering which distro would be best for the hardware. This thing has MBs of RAM, so... Is there any distro that is akin to Windows 98 hardware requirements?

I have been looking for a cheap 1080p Display to replace my 1050p monitor.
I wanted something with DP ports and a secondary port, but as I looked, even the most basic displays only have VGA and HDMI.

The only Monitors I seem to find with DP are the more expensive ones.

I thought HDMI was more expensive to add since it's a proprietary port, whereas DP is an open standard.

Especially since GPUs seem to have 3 DP ports and 1 HDMI. Why do they expect me to get a DP to HDMI adapter?

I was wondering if IDM is capable of extracting the different audio tracks of a video, or if they are limited to the current track that is playing.

I am asking due to YouTube having multiple track options now for some videos, mainly shows like The Amazing Digital Circus that get different dub options as well as subtitles.

Also, on non-YouTube streamers, I used to have problems in build 24 where the default track was non-English, so I had to manually change the track to English, but IDM would download the default tracks instead of the one currently playing.
