Is this t-shirt design good?

I made this design myself and I wanted to know if it's any good? The second photo is a mockup, I haven't printed it yet.

What do you think of this design?

I drew this design in inkscape, about to print for myself. Was interested to see if it's a cool design or not.

Some T shirts I made myself from scratch

A while ago I decided to start sewing and printing my own t shirts, because I wanted to make them look and fit how I like them. I want my shirts to be thicker and heavier than most shirts I find in stores and I loved the process of making them.

From the shirts shown, all are printed from blank cotton fabric and then sewn to a full shirts using my own sewing patterns. The abstract shirt is an own graphic design, the second one not. I was motivated to create my own versions of that one after I was disappointed in that the print was on the back of the the pre owned shirt and I want designs on the front.

I love to hear your honest opinions!

(The neckline is intentionally this high, I like it closed high but be free to say what you think of it)

Details printing

I designs are drawn(first design ) or converted to (second) in vector in Inkscape to make films and expose screens for the screen printing. The screen printing is done with plastisol ink.

Details fabric/sewing

The black shirts are 280gsm mercerized cotton, the red one is 250gsm cotton. The sewing is done with a straight stretch stitch as I found those very durable and neat looking.

Sewing pattern

The sewing pattern I once sketched by tracing an old shirt but I changed nearly everything in many versions I made. I made the neckline higher, experimented with the shoulder slope, armholes etc.

Graphic design

First is drawn in vector software by me, second one is borrowed from an existing shirt, just for my own use.

I made these graphic T-shirts starting from blank cotton, doing the printing, sewing pattern and sewing myself.

I already made some T-shirts myself, both blank and with my own graphic design. Lately I bought a shirt with a print I really like but it's on the back, something I really dislike.

So i decided to make my own version, using this graphic design, from scratch doing the screenprinting of the fabric, making the sewing pattern/fitting + sewing myself.

I decided to go like my previous shirts for heavyweight cotton fabric and a higher closed fit. I made a red and a black version.I know the neckline will be too high up for some but I like it this way.

I love to hear your honest opinions, also if you don't like it. Which color do you like most? Do you like or dislike the neckline ?

Details printing

I converted the design to a vector file in Inkscape to make films and expose screens for the screen printing. The screen printing is done with plastisol ink.

Details fabric/sewing

The Black shirt is 280gsm mercerized cotton, the red one is 250gsm cotton. The sewing is done with a straight stretch stitch as I found those very durable and neat looking.

A few T shirts I made myself

A while ago I found a shirt with a graphic print on that I like a lot. Sadly the design was printed on the back, something I really dislike. It also has the typical thin t shirt fabric whereas I like my T shirts to be thicker and more closed around the neck. I already made several shirts myself, both blank and graphic and I notice I really prefer those to wear.

So I decided to make my own versions (two colors) with the print on the front. The pattern I used was initially a sketch of an old blank T shirt (not the original one with this graphic!) I already had but as I made a lot of shirts and experimented a lot I changed so much it's nowhere close to this shirt anymore. I used screenprinting for the graphic.

Fabric black: 280gsm mercerized 100% cotton

Fabric red: 250gsm 100% cotton

Stitch type: straight stretch stitch

Neckbands: 2x2 heavier rib fabric

Photo of the original shirts I recreated the graphics from as last (right shirt)
