SUN MAXILINK PRIME - Should I terminate?

I got a SUN MAXILINK PRIME way back in 2019. My dad got it for me. I pay 15k quarterly, and I currently have around 200k in fund value.

I just had a call with my FA the other day, and I realized that the policy is mainly investment focused. My beneficiaries will get something when I die and fund value that I can withdraw when needed, but it doesn’t really have the medical benefits that I’m looking for.

My parents already have their own insurance, which is better than mine, and I don’t have kids yet. I also haven’t been consistent with my quarterly payments.

FA told me that terminating it would be a waste since this policy is good, and I only have 3 more yrs left to pay but I’m aware that there will be charges to pay also after that 3yrs. She suggested adding rider benefits, but that would increase my quarterly payment. She also said that getting a new policy would be more expensive because of my age.

Do you think it’s still worth keeping?

I’m thinking of terminating it and putting the money into MP2 instead, or getting another policy that focuses more on health benefits.

Software Tester (5+ YOE) Planning to Job Hunt in Abu Dhabi – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to go to Abu Dhabi this year, possibly around September, for about two months to explore job opportunities.

I’m a Software Tester with over 5 years of experience, specializing in manual testing and backend testing (including database and API testing). I’m currently learning and transitioning into automation testing to further expand my skill set.

I’d really appreciate any information or advice regarding the following:

- Do you know of any IT companies in Abu Dhabi where I can apply online or walk in for an interview?
- Given my experience, what is the average monthly salary for a Software Tester or QA Engineer in the UAE at the moment?
- Is your company currently hiring Software Testers or QA Engineers? If so, do they offer visa sponsorship? I’d be grateful if you could refer me or point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance for your help! Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a chance to work in Madrid - Tech Industry

Hi everyone! I’m a QA professional from the Philippines currently looking for opportunities in Madrid. It has always been a goal of mine to live and work there, and I’ve been actively applying for about a month now. I know the job market is very competitive, but I’m still hopeful and doing my best to find the right opportunity. If anyone could offer a referral, advice, or point me toward any openings with visa sponsorship, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much! Feel free to dm me too!

Me and my boyfriend are in an LDR with a 6-hour time difference.

We started dating last year and haven’t met in person yet.

Before we even reached 1 month together, he cheated. He didn’t hide it , he called me the same night and confessed. He asked for another chance and promised to do better, so I forgave him.

After that, he really made an effort. He gave me access to his home camera (which I don’t constantly check because I don’t want to feel like I’m monitoring him all the time). Rebuilding trust took time, but I genuinely felt his effort and things got better.

Fast forward to this year, he cheated again. This time, I caught him through his home camera. It was sleeping time in my country. I didn’t see anything, but I heard it. That moment really broke me. He asked for another chance again, and even he admits it doesn’t make sense. We’ve had a lot of talks. I’ve blocked and unblocked him multiple times and he messaged me to all my socials and personal. I forgave him. I just really love him, even if I know I’m not being rational.

Now, he’s trying harder, he changed his number and deleted his Instagram to remove triggers. We’re also trying to understand the root cause of his behavior. He says he struggles with controlling his sexual urges and admits that physical touch is his love language, especially since we’re long distance.

He is transparent with me, honest and we had good talks, but it still happens. One day we’re talking about our future, marriage, kids, me meeting his mom, and then suddenly he doubts himself and whether he can actually change. He says I deserve better and that I might be happier without him, but at the same time, he doesn’t want to lose me and wants to become the man I deserve. He both know we will have this moments but agreed to always choose each other but i don’t know.

Right now, we’re trying to rebuild trust again, but honestly, we’re both unsure. I’m unsure when he’s unsure. He feels it’s unfair to me, but I still love him. Really love him. He is willing to do therapy again but this time about physics touch i think. I know he will do anything for me but still i have this fear.

We’re supposed to meet for the first time next month. Also, he’s my first boyfriend.

I don’t know what to do. Am I being a fool? I really need advice. We both know letting go is the rational decision but we both don’t want that option. Right now, we are still fighting for this relationship.
