I've just discovered this concept and was curious whether there are kids who have benefited from having a sibling with a disability.

Is it not ethical to have a second child if the first one is disabled?

Is there a better website for looking at historical aerials than Historical Aerials?

Surely there are better, more comprehensive photos than they have, and more years' worth of photos.

How did we find out about concert tours?

My daughter has an INXS tee on this morning and I see that they were in KCMO in 1987 when I was in college about 2 hours away. I had no idea they were on tour at that time, but I did hear about U2 and Billy Idol concerts there on the radio and saw them. How did bands get the word out?

Word prediction words: why are there words that are not really words?

I'm old, so I slide text and use word predictors. Why do words like "itt" and "haber" show up for "it" and "have" when those are not even real words?

Why is The Shepherd of the Hills movie completely different than the book?

Yeah, I know lots of books and movies are different, but the 1941 movie completely omits major book characters and gives book characters different personalities so they are not recognizable in the movie. The plot is similar but involves different people, and the surprise ending didn't even happen in the movie!

The book was published in 1907 and the movie in 1941. John Wayne is a terrible actor, too.

Bouncy seats for taller toddlers?

My grandson, 2, loves to bounce but is getting too tall for his baby bouncy seat. He’s not able to walk. Anyone know of a product that would allow him to bounce as he grows?

Now what? It's going to take billions of $$ of OH to remove this crap, and at least 458 years. How do you do this? Just a little bit whenever I have time to wipe? Do I have to remove it all, THEN stain it, and THEN polyurethane?

  1. Were Hindley and Hareton common names back then?
  2. When Catherine Earnshaw Linton dies, we just find out that she was 7 months pregnant, and gave birth right before she passed. Wouldn't it have been a better plot point if Heathcliff knew she was pregnant before she died? It seems like the author threw it in as an afterthought when it was the foundation of the second half of the story.
