Am I misremembering or did the PC industry used to have hard shell plastic keyboard protectors?

I ordered a protective cover from Unicomp and I'm a little disappointed. The site doesn't have photos but I assumed it was going to be a hard shell. I could not find the box anywhere after it said delivered, then I found an envelope in my mailbox. "How did they get it crammed in there?"

Turns out it's a flimsy plastic wrap https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/794a11acb04f.JPG I needed something for daily on+off because work gets so much dust and I'm sick of needing to wipe down my keyboard in addition to my desk. I could have used a towel for this.

In my mind, I thought I was getting a clear solid plastic cover that is form fit to the keyboard shape.

If anyone knows where to order a keyboard cover, I'm in the market.

I put this together last year in the upstairs alcove so now I get to walk by it every night. I eventually got another shelf made for it but nothing to fill it because they cut the series here--there's nothing more to collect. Enjoy!

I still don't know how I'll end up displaying them. May need to put in a new cabinet devoted to these.

This is mostly for filling the hole left when Chronicle Collectibles went bust. I had their statues on pre-order years ago and wanted those so badly, only for the business to shutter before they got out. Been waiting all this time for some substitute but I'll always miss those statues I never got to own.

The articulation remains junk but gotta love the sculpt. I really don't know how I'll end up displaying her.
