…and I’m hooked. I haven’t enjoyed painting a model this much since I first started in the hobby a couple of years ago. I picked up a nib 9th edition combat patrol today and have a 4 day weekend coming up and I’m so stoked for more. Blood for the Blood God!
I’ve been in the hobby a couple years now with a Templars and Custodes army, but I was wanting to get into the chaos side of things to mix it up a bit. I’m a huge, huge, HUGE Frank Frazetta fan and it occurred to me that if Frank were to paint any of the legions in the setting, he would no doubt be drawn to World Eaters- Kharn has such a Death Dealer vibe - so that made the decision pretty easy for me. I have a friend that has an NIB set of the old school 9th edition combat patrol for $150 and I was wondering if that would be the best starting place for me or the newer set. Berserker warband seems like the obvious go to detachment and seems to me like the older set would be the best choice but before I drop the cash, I figured I’d ask you experts. Thanks ahead of time, looking forward to getting those skulls!
