ATTN Current Success Teachers

So many of you have shared about what is happening at Success Summer Training for Teachers. It is absolutely disgusting! If anyone has documents, handouts or power points, either upload them or take pictures and upload them on here. If anyone is able, take pictures or videos of the things being said in these training and again upload them here. We have to start lifting the mask off!

Demi/Nick Relationship

So everyone seems to be saying that Demi really doesn’t like Nick even though she and the JoBros have been saying they’re all on good terms. She definitely gives Joe more of an open and warm hug in this clip while she only really taps Nicks arm. Does anyone have more insight into if the relationship is really that strained?

She seems to be on good terms with Joe and Nick was like her best friend from like 2012-2017. So why has their relationship become so strained? I have heard that it is partially due to Nicks marriage to Priyanka Chopra; that it is just a PR marriage and Demi doesn’t respect that but I don’t know if that is the main reason or if it is altogether true.

What’s a coaster everyone loves but you don’t like? I’ll start - [The Beast]

Beast gave me a headache and hurt my back. After being tossed and jostled around for that long, I was done!

Edit: I rode it after the retrack and it was still painful af

Hersheypark Operations

Does anyone else have the sense that the operations are just TERRIBLE at this park? The rides and coaster lineup is AWESOME! But the operations are incredibly slow and none of the workers seem to have any sense of urgency. There is no effort made to dispatch trains quickly. If you have ever been to Cedar Point or Carowinds or Kings Island, workers take pride in being efficient and dispatching trains quickly. Even many of the Six Fags parks have better operations (and that is saying a lot). But here I see workers laughing and engaging in non-work related conversations before they can be bothered to check restraints or dispatch trains. Once I even saw workers exchanging phone numbers on the platform with a full train waiting for restraints to be checked.

AirPods are unnecessary and stoopid

AirPods are a completely unnecessary and regressive/reductive invention. Why do you need a pair of earbuds that only work with specific products? Besides that you just look dum with two weird things hanging out of your ears. They can easily fall out and can then be very hard to find? Wired earbuds are undoubtedly a better product. They can’t easily fall out and roll away. Someone can’t just pull one or both out and steal them. And they were able to work with any product.

Roast My Cedar Point Coaster Rankings

Got to visit CP for the first time these past few days. Below are my coaster rankings.

TOP TIER/WORLD CLASS

  1. Steel Vengeance - The layout, the airtime, and the drop are all amazing. It's a nice long ride that leaves you satisfied at the end.

  2. Top Thrill 2- The launching back and forth is a great rush! Cresting the tophat and seeing how high you are, there's nothing like it (esp not since Kingda Ka was taken away from us)

  3. Maverick- Wow! This coaster proves you dont need extreme height or speed to be amazing! The drop, while only 105 ft tall is crazy intense. The launches, the airtime hills, the inversions, it's an amzing ride!

GREAT RIDES

  1. Siren's Curse- That tilt in the back half of the train is a trip! You rise up higher as you are tilting. The ride is super smooth and has some good elements but there is nothing truly amazing after the drop. The airtime hills and inversions on here are like a much tamer and slower version of Maverick

  2. Magnum XL-200- If this ride were smooth, it would be a top tier ride. The airtime hills on here are honestly stronger than Steel Vengeance's, you go FLYING out of your seat. But you also get slammed into the restraint and back into the seat in a very rough manner. It's deifnitely worth doing, but if you plan to ride coasters all day, def dont do this one more than twice.

  3. Millenium Force- The speed is great but there is no airtime after the first drop and its not nearly as forceful as SV, Maverick, or even Magnum

  4. Raptor- This is now officially my favorite invert(though I havent ridden Montu yet but I do like it more than Alpengeist, Afterburn, and the Batmans)! This ride is really strong! It gets overshadowed at this park by all the taller, faster coasters but it is a REALLY GOOD ride!

GOOD RIDES

  1. Valravn- The drop is great! There is also an inversion with good hang time and an airtime hill but other than that, there isn't much to this ride. It also doesnt hold you at the top for very long, like 1-2 seconds

  2. Gatekeeper- This ride is fun. At many other parks it would be a top 3/5 ride but here, it just gets overshadowed. Having said that, I do feel like X-Flight is a more fun ride than this one.

  3. Gemini- The racing element is really fun. Both sides have a fair chnce at winning. But its an arrow ride, so smoothness is out the window.

11.Wild Mouse- One of the most fun wild mouses out there. The spinning adds a lot of the ride.

  1. Blue Streak- An old woodie. Its not smooth but it does have some good airtime

YOU CAN SKIP THESE

  1. Iron Dragon- Meh

  2. Rougarou- Ouch! Never again! Magnum hurts but its still fun. This isn't

  3. Cedar Creek Mine Ride- One of the roughest and least fun mine trains out there.

Did not care to ride Wilderness Run, Woodstock Express, or Corkscrew

Millenium Force Seatbelts

I am 6’2 240 lbs and while I am slightly overweight, I am not obese. I have never ever had to worry not have I ever come close to NOT fitting into a ride. I can even fit in kid/family coasters like mine trains or Woodstock express/blue streak and while they are never comfortable, I can still fit.

But geez these seatbelts at millenium force are the closest I have ever come to being worried and being able to fit. An attendant had to help with my seatbelt today bc I just couldn’t get it. I had to suck in and it was a struggle for her getting it to click properly. I was still able to ride but it was VERY close/tight.

I did not have a problem fitting into anything else at CP or any other ride ever

Was Told To Buy a Locker at SV (NO BAG!)

Went to the park today (Saturday) and went to ride SV around 8pm. I did NOT have a bag. All I had my my phone, car key and wallet in my zipper pockets. I was then told by the attendant at the queue entrance that I could not enter with anything in my pockets. That they were out of lockers and if I wanted to ride, I had to purchase a locker to put the things in my pockets in. Has anyone else experienced this? Do they do this at TT2 or Sirens Curse?

I left and came back at 9pm after the workers switched out and was able to enter put my things in a free locker.

1st time visitor. Should I bring a bag? Any tips?

Will be visiting CP for the first time Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. I’m super excited.

If I were to bring a bag, do most rides have bins to store it? Would they make me buy a locker to put it in for rides like steel vengeance and top thrill? My home park is KD and they won’t even let you bring a bag into the queue line for Twisted Timbers. They make you put all bags in a paid locker.

What about zipper pockets? I know certain parks/rides are finicky about them. Could I just keep my phone and keys in a zipper pocket? (for the rides that don’t have mandatory free lockers)

Also if anyone is local or planning to go any of those days coming up, let know, I’d be down for a coaster buddy/buddies to ride with. I will have fast lane plus for all 3 days.

I LOVE my X3!

I rent a lot of cars when I travel for work and boy, the more I drive these other cars, the more I LOVE my X3! The driving feel, the ease of use of the controls and infotainment (the easy to use touch screen that is quick and responsive), the easy to follow backup camera, the comfortable steering wheel. NOTHING.COMES.CLOSE!
