Purple or Blue threadlocker?

What do you recommend for pivot screws? I had a bad experience with a knife that came with red threadlocker on it once, so I definitely dont want to go red, but I'm not sure if purple is strong enough or not. I definitely want to be able to break it loose without risk of stripping the screws but I don't want it breaking loose on its own either.

Gold anodized Duk from Jufule. This knife is very well made, great action, perfectly centered blades. My only complaint is I wish there was jimping on the blade. Otherwise I’d say it’s a perfect knife.

Which Mojave?

I know this has been asked before, and I did search before posting, but a lot of the posts were from before Lemifshe came out with their newest version or shortly after where people were still waiting for them to come in.

For those who have put hands on both, which Mojave would you say is a better knife? Which comes closer to the OG?

I’m leaning Jufule because I like the dark Blu ano stars. Maybe it’s the pictures but the lemifshe ano looks to be a little muted while the Jufule really pops

Best budget knife for a kid?

My stepson is fascinated with my knives and with watching me sharpen. He’s been asking for some time for us to get him a knife. His mother and I have agreed to get him a knife to let him use supervised and teach him safety & how to sharpen.

I’m thinking something like an Ontario rat, but I’m curious what suggestions you guys would have? I want it to be in a steel that’s fairly easy to sharpen. If there’s a good sheepsfoot out there that would be ideal since it doesn’t have a point on the end.

Replace leather strip?

Let a friend use my precision adjust and he used the leather strop in a sawing motion, strop looks like this now. Will it still be effective or should I replace?

LEM v3 Rosie m390

I’m incredibly impressed with this knife. The action is perfect right out of the box, blade is shaving sharp & centered, lock up is great and no blade play, and the pocket clip doesn’t even need breaking in. I would put this knife up against any knife I own, including many that cost 4-5x or more what this one did.

Lem cortex vs fsd

My next purchase will likely be a cortex or fsd from Lemifshe. I’m torn on which one to go with. Does anybody have both of them and if so, which do you prefer? They both have pros and cons for me.

I like the flipper mechanism better on the cortex, I prefer to use my index finger to deploy and looking at the FSD, it doesn’t appear that would be super easy to do. I also like that the cortex is available in m390. I don’t have any experience with Ken’s 154cm so this may not that big of a deal.

I like the blade shape of the FSD better, I’m not a huge sheepsfoot guy, but the flip side of that is the cortex would give me more variety. I also like that the blade is thicker on the FSD.

So what do you guys think? Which do you prefer and why? If you were buying a cortex, would you spend the extra money for m390?

Got this Koenig Arius rep in yesterday from Nine Thorn. It needs a little tuning & some sharpening to get it where I want it but it’s otherwise a good knife for what I paid for it.

Lemifshe v3 release date?

Does anyone know when Lemifshe launched their v3? Some of the listings on Ali are obvious they’re v3 because they say 2026 but I found a listing of some Rosies that were created in July of 2025 & I’m curious if those would be v3 or v2

Jufule vs Lemifshe

I know that it can vary from model to model, but generally speaking, what’s the consensus on which one makes a better product?

I’ve always been a collector of knives, but I’ve recently had a child & can’t bring myself to spend hundreds of dollars on a knife, so have very recently got into Chinese replicas. I should be clear that none of these knives are being sold or traded as genuine, they are strictly for my own use.
