I know it’s a long shot, but what animal was this part of? [upstate SC]

The triangle this is hard but pliable like a wet fingernail. I couldn’t find any other parts nearby.

Does my cape sundew look healthy? Also, what is growing on it in the second picture?

I have it growing in the substrate that it was shipped in from CA Carnivores and I filled in the surrounding areas with 50/50 sphagnum and perlite. I have it living outside with my sarracenias in a bottom up waterer pot and it gets full sun most of the day.

What snake was living under my bird bath? [Upstate SC]

Moved my bird bath to mulch under it and found this little fella. He was very small, maybe like 10-15 inches. TIA!

Where can I take my girl swimming?

My sweetest baby is turning 2 this month and she absolutely loves the water. I want to take her somewhere for her birthday where she can go swimming and that I can at least go wading with her. Are there any local lakes or clean deep creeks around here that allow this? TIA!!!
