When you really need a fried rice

Whipped up this awesome fried rice with shrimp, stirfry and garlic and ginger and a side of walnut Chinese broccoli. Made a little bit of avocado cream with crème fraîche, avocado, and Elote seasoning to go along with the store bought Sriracha mayo. YUM!

Last breakfast for my daughter before the school year starts

She loves the powdered sugar! She gets the plain cheesy eggs, but I sneak a little bit of sautéed shallots into mine.

Who else saw Spider-Man and thought he brought that both energy?

Peter Parker sure did spend a lot of time managing his two sets of hormones. Sometimes he even unmasked. But it wasn’t easy. lol.

>!At the end when he said, I’m both, that really got me.!<

Community update!

Hey All,

Thank you for visiting, some of you every day! Just wanted to point out a few housekeeping matters and share some behind-the-scenes info.

  1. There are four new pinned posts to check out. Those posts rock!
  2. I made a new rule asking everyone to choose a post flair. Especially to those frequent posters, please use the flairs, thank you!
  3. We've had over 50,000 visits to r/bigender in the last month, and our followers have grown to 8,600, which is amazing!
  4. I hope everyone is happy with the new bigender flag banner on the sub. I'd like to make a custom icon for our sub too, but need more consensus first, so feel free to comment your ideas here or suggestions or ideas with photos. I've made a lot of logos over the years, so I'm really happy to make one here or go with one everyone can agree on, but nothing will be set in stone (or digitally or whatever) without community input.

Wishing all of you the love and keep that both energy going 🩷💛🤍💜💙

Dinner for wifey before going out

Sometimes simple stuff cooked nicely really with good knife work and plating really does the trick. This is a honey terryaki pork loin on the grill and garlic baby broccoli sautéed in olive oil. The key is to season it with love.

Sneaking veggies into the red sauce for the little one

And naturally, she decided to have pasta with butter and cheese. But it still tasted really good with red sauce!

Salmon spinach salad

This one is wifey approved! Tomatoes, blue cheese, link lady apples, bacon and almond slivered with blue cheese and balsamic glaze really made this a yummy dish.

Filter with easy to make broccoli recipe you’ll love

Firstly, thank you wifey for the new grill and Bluetooth thermometers! Grilling has never been so precise!

This broccoli really got me and I thought the recipe is too good not to share.

Ingredients:

- 12 oz. Non-organic broccoli from Trader Joe’s (but you can use any long stem broccoli)
- 3 tbsp. Rice wine vinegar
- 4 cloves of fresh garlic minced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp. of Accent (msg)
- toasted sesame seeds
- black sesame seeds

Steps:

  1. Warm up the butter and half the sesame oil on medium high heat and drop in the minced garlic, sauté for a minute until gently browned.
  2. Drop in the broccoli, the rice wine vinegar and the rest of the sesame oil. Keep heat medium high and stir well.
  3. After the broccoli changes color and all is cooked, reduce heat to low, sprinkle with Accent and let it simmer low for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Top with sesame seeds to taste and serve!
