Antique mall caught a vibe
The antique mall in my neighborhood just got a new vendor booth and the vibes are vibing.

I've been commuting to work by bike for a couple of years now. On April 1 (the actual worst day of the year bc I am so gullible), I got into my first serious bike accident. My day ended with 10 stitches to my forehead, some seriously bruised hands (that took 3 months to recover), and a nice hospital bill.
Today I got back on my bike for the first time since the accident and commuted to work! I've been kind of nervous about it, but it was just like riding a bike. Just wanted to share my small win this morning!
There's a certain kind of hell in finding only half a fairy lamp at the thrift store. The other half is probably on a cart, ready to be put out...after I leave. I found the bottom half of an Indiana Tiara Mushroom Fairy Lamp for $0.99! I only recognized it because I have one in ice blue. I honestly didn't know Indiana made any other colors but pink and blue in this particular style.
Does anyone else collect fairy lamp pieces in the hopes of one day reuniting them with their other half? The bottom shelf of my bookcase is a bit of a mausoleum of unfinished dreams. (dramatic i know, but it's that serious)
The public library offered a mending class this afternoon. I learned a running stitch, back stitch, and hem stitch. Plus, they provided us with instructions and some basic sewing supplies to take home. I usually take my pants to a tailor to get hemmed, but I am feeling pretty confident after the class. I’m looking forward to fixing a shirt and fixing the hem on a pair of pants myself.
We also touched on a few different techniques for mending clothes that includes artistic expression with it. It was a fantastic class!
I picked up this vintage amethyst swirl Hurricane lamp this weekend. It's legitimately one of my favorite finds ever! The second picture is the beautiful glow it puts out at night. The vibes in my home are immaculate thanks to this night lighting. I had all of my fairy lamps going throughout the house and...I may never want to leave my home again.
Okay folks, I need a recommendation! I am a frequent hiker/traveler and am in serious need of some good quick-dry undergarments. I prefer a high waisted hipster for underwear. For bras, I usually wear underwire to support the ladies. That isn't strictly necessary, but I hate uni-boob.
Y'all know of any brands selling quick-dry merino (preferred) undergarments in plus sizes? I'm usually a 2x in most brands, but a lot of hiking/active brands only go up to XL.
Edit: I am in the US, but I can also get stuff shipped to Germany.
I spent the weekend camping. Usually, I pack my weekends camping with hiking, swimming, and biking. This time around, I hung up my hammock and spent hours reading on my Kindle. It was a much-needed weekend spent relaxing!
Hey y'all, I've got an end user that wants to install the free version of Davinci Resolve on his second work machine. I have tried reading through some FAQ and some of the EULA for the free version of Resolve, but I can't find a clear answer. Can the free version of Davinci Resolve be used by a user on multiple devices for commercial use? I definitely don't want to use it outside of the licensing agreements, but it's hard to justify the cost of ANOTHER video editing software when they already have access to like 3 other options.
Last month I got into a bicycle accident. My hands are still recovering and I haven't been able to bike to work or work out as usual. This morning I decided to walk to work instead of drive. It took about 40 minutes to get to the office as opposed to the usual 7 minute drive. But I got to pet a friendly dog, enjoy the new blooms showing up, and get a little exercise before work.
It was a slow, nice start to my day.
