September 12, 1985 was the first show where a contestant missed Final Jeopardy! by not phrasing their response in the form of a question.

The category: MISS AMERICA

The clue: He replaced Bert Parks as host of Miss America pageant for 1980.

The correct response: Who is >!Ron Ely?!<

Contestant Charlotte Starbird got the correct person, but forgot to put "Who is", forcing Alex Trebek to deem the response incorrect (as Charlotte realizes her mistake).

Fun electives to take over the summer?

One of my classes for next term got cancelled, so I'm replacing it with an elective. Are there any fun classes that you would recommend? I don't need them to be super easy (I'm willing to put in some work), though I don't want something too difficult.

Note: My major is FMTV (film and television), so don't recommend classes from that major. I would also prefer if the class did not have a common exam period.

SNL's "Making Realistic-Looking Fire Alarm Systems for the Background of Live Sketches" team is getting sloppy

Three, count 'em, THREE separate models of fire alarms! Two of them are bells, one's a remote-strobe, the two bells are too close to each other for a 1960s grandfathered-in bell system, and they are mounted flush to the wall despite this building seeming to have exposed piping for sprinklers and lights.

You recieve a time machine and can go back in history to alter exactly one point in history.

The actual act must be small, but it can have huge consequences. For example, you can make the car carrying Franz Ferdinand turn down another street, saving him from assassination and preventing our timeliness World War 1.

There will be no temporal paradoxes. You will continue to live in this altered timeline, even if you prevented your birth. Only you will remember the old timeline.

When you change that point in history, you will return to May 2026, fully clothed, in the middle of Times Square. Should New York not exist, you will instead return to an equally large city. You will have one median salary in your bank account and an apartment already rented.

What moment in history do you change?

You will need a permit to park in the shaded area from June 11 to July 19 due to the FIFA Fan Festival. Source: CBS News Philadelphia

If you live here, your current permit is not sufficient. Contact the PPA for a permit (either a day visitor pass or a resident permit.)

The effected area is between Cecil B. Moore and Hamilton Aves, and Pennsylvania/N 33rd and 25th (Moore-Master), Corinthian (Master-Poplar and Brown-Fairmont), and 21st (Poplar-Hamilton).

None of Drexel's main campus is effected, but this is close to campus. If you live in this area, be sure you have the necessary permits. Also expect loads of traffic since this is one of the biggest soccer events in the world taking place in our backyard.

Jeopardy! should increase the prize amounts for the 10,000th episode.

I don't mean doubling the clue values on the board for all future episodes. I mean, for one episode only, the values on the board are multiplied by 10 in honoring of the 10,000th episode. Yes, that means that a correct response in Double Jeopardy could single-handedly get you $20,000.

If Jeopardy keeps with its regular schedule, it should air sometime mid-April 2028. So they can get enough money on hand before then.

This playoff game had the most extra time since 1936, the third-most extra time of all time, and the most extra time in all of NHL history with a score that was not 0-0.

Keith Primeau scored the winning goal with 7:59 left in 5OT, with Dan McGillis and Luke Richardson credited with assists.

Also I meant to post this three days ago lol
