I will be camping the United Center box office. if my dad swoops in before to pay for my seats is that ok as long as I am waiting the whole time?

I will be camping a box office line but my dad needs to be there to pay for our two tickets. he doesn’t want to wait the whole time. is it fine if he just comes at the last second? I would be buying two tix anyways so I feel like it should be fine
