Walking to Soldier Field

My mom and I will be walking to Soldier Field and I was wondering if one route was safer than the other? We will probably be walking back to our car around midnight.

Skinny Hibiscus Margarita at Everwise Amphitheater

My husband and I went to the Jack White concert on July 21. I had a Skinny Hibiscus Margarita. It was a no phone show so I couldn’t take a picture of the menu. I also forgot to see what kind of Hibiscus mix they used. I know they used Mi Campo Blanco. I was hoping someone knows what kind of mix they used? Thanks!

Going to North Park post concert

Hi everyone! I’m travelling to see BTS in Chicago and a friend has kindly offered for me to stay at her place in North Park. What is the best way to get there post-concert and how easy is it to do?

Soldier Field to North Park Area

Hi everyone, I'll be in Chicago next week for a concert at Soldier field, and am staying in the north park area. How easy is it to get back to the area post-concert? What routes would you guys recommend (CTA, train, Uber?)

Subterranean is....weird

Don't know any other way to put it. I went with a friend for Emo Nite not really knowing what to expect, and it was such a weird crowd. Lots of millennials, 20 somethings, and scattering of teenagers here and there.

Security was at points overbearing and lacking personal space, which made no sense because hardly anyone was dancing or moving for that matter. Bartender was also pretty rude when I asked for a Tonic water (I don't drink).

I'm relatively new to the chicago night scene... someone please tell me it isn't all like this! I know culturally/socially everyone is still waking up from Covid, but there has to be some good energy shows where people aren't afraid to dance with one another etc.

Why isn’t Mike D sold out? Part 2: Now what?

Wow! So many people had something to say about this in post 1. Thanks for being so cool to my first post on Reddit! Tried to update but got flagged. (?) Trying again.

Saw he was coming to the Riviera Theater in Chicago in October. Logged on early, scored a pair. Heard it wasn’t sold out, started wondering. Mystery solved. Go to the show or dump em. What would you do?

I’ll probably go. He’s still a Beastie. It’s still a live show. I think the four tracks he has out are great. Nothing like the Beasties. Sound is electro-hyper-chill-dance-dj-fun. What other stuff like that should I be listening to? It’s new to me and I’ll liking it!

Thanks again. Hope to see everybody at a show one day.

Ravinia coolerBag/Beer question in Pavilion

Hello all,

I’m attending a show at Ravinia for the first time next week. I have pavilion seating for Alabama Shakes. I understand it’s BYOB and you can picnic in the lawn. I also read it said no food in the pavilion.

My question is, if I brought my own beer and food and ate the food in the lawn, could I bring my soft cooler bag and beers into the pavilion once the band begins to play? I’m taking the train and I’d hate to get my cooler bag confiscated.

The salt shed indoor/outdoor?

What does that mean exactly?

Are some shows indoor and some are outdoor?

Can I see the indoor show if I'm in the outdoor section?

Should I go see Ministry even tho I hear Uncle Al has been lip syncing for years?

What happens when we die?

Thanks, I'll take my answers off air

Soldier field clear bag policy

Hi! i’ve never been to soldier field or any concerts recently with a clear bag rule. Does anyone know if the bag needs to be clear AND colorless? or can it be blue and translucent? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lincoln hall 18+

Hey there’s a show I want to go to that is 18+ and I am 16. I can get my parent to come in with me I was just wondering if I could bring a friend who is 17 even if my parent isn’t their legal guardian. There isn’t really a way he would be able to look related to us.

Soldier field concert Security question

Going to BTS concert soon at Soldier field and wondering if they would allow nicotine losanges or gum? I've heard they don't allow chewing tobacco or zyn. Has anyone had experience bringing something like this since BTS concerts can be up to 3 hours? Thanks.
