Has anyone had experience in installing the wolfbox 900 tripro using the OEM mirror bracket they sell?

I wanted to install the rear mirror directly, not wrapped in front of the original one so I purchased the WOLFBOX OEM Bracket for USB C G900 Tripro but can't see how this will work with this hexagonal looking bolt.

I saw this on my T-Life app today. I'm on the One plan, four lines plus watch plan. I am somewhat interested but when I go through the upgrade plan page, it literally spells out the savings between my One plan and this a $5 reduction. Is this based on the assumption I'm using the Netflix credit and Apple TV for $3 and baking in those "savings"? I'm wondering if by "upgrading" am I opening myself to taxes for all my lines? From my understanding the taxes are included somehow and these new plans are rate plus applicable tax.
