Need advise: 13+ years Data Engg
I have 13+ years of experience IN Data Engineering and it's mostly Abinito and tools around that in the suit.
I last couple of years, I have got decent exposure of AWS storage, compute, events, IAM, Cloud watch and other nuances from that field.
Also, I have worked on python based framework where storage and compute in aws. Along with this, I hold enough information in Snoswflake and now learning DBT as well.
I am also well aware about GHA and Ci-CD related terminologies as well. I am reading system design and data engineering fundamentals books also.
I am currently learning SQL, pyspark and snowflake. What areas I should improve to become a good Staff Data Engineer.
My most worry is how much python knowledge would be needed.
Please help!
Need Guidance- Data Engineer with 13+ years with tool and now switching into Cloud World
I am a data engineer with 13+ years of experience and majority of this is tool based ( AbInitio to be specific).
Now, i am working on Python based framework and AWS services and have decent exposure into Snowflake also. I am planning to learn SQL and System design and have started learning both ( Namaste SQL, Gaurav Sen' System Design along with Data Intensive Applications Book ).
I have decent knowledge about AWS services especially, S3, EC2 and IAM policies. Github and GHA are also something i am well versed with especially the need of these in Data Engineering World.
What else i should do as I am planning to attend interviews outside of my organisation ?
Bengaluru Freedom Run
First official 10k run which was Bengaluru Freedom Run.. I have been running since last 6 month but never did an official one
Overall time 1hr 10 min ... How did I do ?
Legs look lean..how to add muscle there ?
I run frequent 5k (30-32min) as it's just been 6 months... I realized that my legs look like chicken legs but upper body is kinda okay because I do occasional push ups and ligh some dumbles.
I do calf raise with body weight or with 10kg but that doesn't seem to do anything. What I should eat and what exercise to do to look balanced ?
