evolution in islam (humans)

Salam, I am a muslim interested in anthropology and evolution, but many say Islam contradicts evolution especially human evolution. But that wouldn’t make any sense if humans came from simpler life forms like monkeys? It also wouldn’t make sense if islam contradicts evolution since neanderthals and homosapians existed and trace to humans.

Some men abusing Islam to keep women under control

Salam everyone, I was wondering why do so many muslim men like to come at our sisters with Quran quoted for example the most common “33:33” Hadith without knowing much about it and just using the parts that benefit them. Especially to keep their misogynistic ways and views in check. Why do many muslim men also like the idea of how Afghanistans government runs around women and women’s rights when what they’re doing over there and in Iran is clearly not islamic?
(please do not attack me or other people under this post its a genuine question)

Stopping eating non zabiha meat

First off Salam, I was wondering if people on this subreddit have any tips as a muslim living in the U.S and wanting to maintain their health as well be able to eat without worry. How do I avoid non- zabiha meat. please don’t judge I thought of this while eating a Taco Bell taco. Also planning to visit Cali soon for in n out and I really don’t want to miss out what do I do?. For basic homecooked meals too I usually go to trader joes and get aussie meats since its usually halal and halal meat places aren’t always open.

fasting on the day of Arafat

Salam everyone, so I know today is Arafat and I broke my fast because I got my nose cautering (to stop nose issues). I ended up breaking my fast and I don’t know if there’s a way I could still get my sins removed for this year and next year and all my duas accepted. What is recommended to do?

bloating in kpop idols

random thought, how do kpop idols not bloat? especially with enhypen and other boy groups. you’ll see them eat whatever and not bloat. this is primarily because of heeseung i heard he likes to eat a lot but he never looks bloated. Is it that they do get bloated like us (bc their ordinary humans) and just have good cameras and angles? orrr

theory

I know in Islam ghosts can’t possibly exist since when the human passes they move on to barzakh until the day of judgement but what if the things that people see as “ghosts” are actually people living their timelines right next to hours and every “haunting” that’s not djinn is actually just glitches when our realities touch.

shadow figure?

Ok, so I’m going to start this off by saying this wasn’t something I saw with my own two eyes but rather something that my mother saw in our house. It was really late around midnight and I’d just finished showering and brushing my teeth so I headed to bed and drifted to sleep. A while later my mom woke me up and asked if I was walking around the upstairs of our house I said no not knowing what happened due to everyone in the house being asleep. The next night as I was getting ready for sleep my mom said she saw what looked like a shadow of a man standing in her doorway (my rooms right next doors to my parents) and just standing like a shadow figure dark, skinny and looked like a man. Apparently it’d also shut my door which was slightly ajar then dissapearwd. My mom checked the house and all the doors and windows were closed so it couldn’t have been someone breaking in. Mind you we are a Muslim family that pray 5 times a day, read the quran, athkar (supplications) in the morning and night. But recently our house has been a bit negative with people angry all the time and just negativity all over. Please tell me theories on what it could’ve been and what I could to prevent it (religiously).
