Ogłoszono dzisiaj na UAM listy rankingowe na kognitywistykę, zakwalifikowanych jest 181 osób, a ja jestem 260 na liście ogólnej , czyli 79 na rezerwowej.Czy jest jakakolwiek szansa , że się dostanę ??
For context, I’m 18 and about to start college in Poland and I got both into a psychology course and a cognitive science course and have no idea which one to choose.
I’ve been more set on psychology for the past few months because I didn’t know that cognitive science existed as a college major I guess you could call it. But since I found out what it is about, I’ve been very torn between the two.
They both interest me on different levels and both have things that I like and then I don’t like .With cognitive science I’m especially worried about the IT stuff cause I’m not very good at that field like the whole programming and python is foreign to me .I don’t have any experience in that field whatsoever. but with psychology, I’m worried about the work situation how to get a stable job and because I feel like the market in Poland is overrun with psychologists as of late . and also, I’m worried that the psychology course might be boring for some reason cause it comes from the looks of it. Some people describe it that way, and also the education route to become a therapist is very long and very expensive in my country.
I also am worried about the job opportunities after both cognitive science and psychology. I don’t know what kind of jobs can I do? Is there a lot of offers? Is it hard to get a job after those majors?

Mam 18 lat i w tym roku aplikuję na studia. Dostałam się zarówno na psychologię jak i kognitywistykę i szczerze nie wiem co wybrać . Oba kierunki wydają mi się interesujące i poniekąd są ze sobą podobne.Jednak boję się że kognitywistyka będzie dla mnie zbyt techniczna, bo nie miałam zbytnio styczności z programowaniem . Za to z drugiej strony w ostatnich latach psychologia stała się bardzo popularna i przepełnia się rynek pracy + ścieżka kształcenia by zostać psychoterapeutom ( co by mnie mogło potencjalnie interesować) jest długa i droga . Znacie jakieś fajnie opcje zawodowe po tych kierunkach i też możliwość rozwoju ?? Co bardziej się opłaca na przyszłość??Bardzo proszę o rady I jakiekolwiek opinie! Bo w obecnym momencie szczerze mam niezłą zagwozdkę
