I'm going to an event next month for people who will be my potential customers. I can't do 3d rendering yet because of IP. What other printed materials should I look into, if any?
In general, what preliminary paperwork does it make sense to prepare at the earliest stages for customers and/or investors?
Thanks so much

I'm an audio guy with some fair amount of formal training and experience and I've recently gotten involved with a studio space in Northern NJ about 45 min outside Manhattan (both public transit and driving). From an acoustics perspective, the foundation of the space is solid but it needs a lot of work. Optimally we would have some cash up front to do renovations before we really get rolling.
There are 2 moderate size performance venues in town. In a few months there will probably be 3, and the new one will be operated by a national chain. My first idea was, make a deal with one or more of the venues to have the touring artists come through and play a set and sit for an interview, and sell local advertising. Another strategic avenue I considered was, we're not too far from Audible headquarters in Newark. I have no idea if they use outside operators for their products but it would be wonderful to do business with them. But, in general, I would like to be extremely diversified. I don't care if it's audio drama, audiobook, corporate audio training, or ADR. I just want to make sure there are people in the space making money.
I'm not really familiar with podcast marketing or the specific business practices that surround it. I would definitely like to learn more, but strategically I'm a big believer in division of labor. I think there's a dedicated role for a specialist here who will focus on marketing and social media, initially on a percentage basis but strategically on salary.
Any advice greatly appreciated

I'm the "tech guy" for a relatively new studio space in North NJ (45 min outside Manhattan). We're going to do a lot of renovation work, but strategically we would like to make ADR and post a big part of our business. What advice do you folks have?
Thanks so much in advance for any help

Does it cause problems showing up at the office with visible injuries, especially in the face?

I'm currently being trained on a manual stone by a retired chef, we do a volunteer sharpening thing every 3 months. I had an idea to set up a stand at some local farmers markets with a bench grinder, I saw someone else here had some success with that. Is it a realistic goal to get some professional kitchen business? On the one hand, I know I'm close to NYC so I have competition. On the other hand, it's never going to be anything but a side hustle so I don't need too much work.

I started reading Kamui and it occurred to me that their version of Shinobi was persuasive. Meaning, while some Shinobi became "famous" for assassinating high ranking samurai and daimyo, the "rank and file" were deployed against "uppity" peasants and eta. That way the "honorable" samurai wouldn't have to "get their hands dirty". This would explain why Shinobi myths were so widespread. I suppose the counter argument would be that units of ashigaru and/or machi-bugyo/doshin would handle that, but it seems an interesting theory at least.
Is there any evidence for or against this?
I have severe allergies and I want to build a single filter setup (lack of space) using a 4in or 5in filter. Do I have any way of making sure I have sufficient airflow other than an anemometer?
I don't need a precise number, just a way to make sure a sufficient amount of air is getting through. Is a piece of paper at the intake reliable?
Thanks so much

I know this is some basic vector math but I'm just not seeing it.

I'm going to rent a machine next month, but can I make a dent without one? I know I need to replace my protector too, I'll ask about that in a separate question
Thanks so much

Howdy folks, hope this is the right sub.
I would like to assemble the setup in the attached picture as an air purifier. The basic problem is, I have no idea how to select filter depth. The optimal solution is longest filter life vs maximum dust collection. Obviously I can measure pressure drop at intake but that means buying 1 filter of each size.
Many thanks in advance for any hints

I have a daikin mini split (I can post make/model if necessary). Is it a sane life goal to tape some Merv 13 fabric over the intake to collect allergens? If so, how often should it be replaced?
Thanks so much

Howdy folks. Not a gunsmith exactly, but since I buy a lot of wheeler stuff I figured I would ask here too.
I owned a Wheeler. I hated it for many reasons, and I don't think it's even in production anymore. I was recently watching a movie and I saw the attached image. I thought it was a really cool idea. Since it hangs vertically, I could make a "gantry" to position it in the horizontal plane. Does anyone know the make/model? If not, what do people generally use?
Fwiw I really don't want to deal with _anything_ with an articulated arm for a variety of reasons. That wheeler annoyed me enough for one lifetime.
