I completed all my tasks for the day. Still feel like I missed something?

This happens to me a lot. I force myself to complete all the tasks I set out for myself that day — both professionally and personally.

But as I go to wind down, my mind is spinning with all the things I didn’t do in the day: I didn’t go to grocery, I didn’t exercise today.

Even though those things weren’t in my to-do list that day. It’s like I never get the full satisfaction of completing tasks.

Is this normal?

For some background, I’ve been trying to put my life in order. Eating healthy, working out, going to work (on time), having more energy at work and so forth.

It’s a lot to bite off at once, but I’ve been consistent for a few weeks trying to prioritize different tasks each day.

Like today I clean and make food, tomorrow I work out… and I’ve been doing that (even when I really don’t want to).

Still I’m ruminating and stressing out in the evenings.

Times moves slower post break up?

I broke up with my long-term bf a few months ago, and I still feel like every day feels like a long eternal slog. Is this normal? Time used to pass so quickly before.
