Battle Rapper Review: Sak Maestro
Reflecting on his entire battle rap run, I feel like he's getting too much VIP treatment than he truly deserves. Tingin ko, despite sa lahat ng mga pagpapabaya nya sa battle, ( even in some battles, you can clearly see he's only there for the TF) Anygma still chooses to see his potential.
Madaming emcees na ang nagpabaya in 1 or 2 battles at di na nabigyan muli, compared to Sak na almost always seem to be getting unlimited second chances.
Tingin ko, di talaga nya deserve mabigyan ng chance to face Loonie. Sak Maestro is a skilled emcee but that's all there is to him.
(panot, duwag, pisot, overrated, with some personals..etc.)
(weird mentality)
Tsaka I remember din Loonie, saying na ayaw nyang kalabanin yung mga taong may seemingly masamang tinapay o clout chasing issues sa kanya: ( Target, Sak Maestro, Lanzeta, Lhipkram) So parang malabo talaga silang magharap.
Sak, no doubt is a great writer and a good performer. I think he's ego got the better of him. He came in at the right time sa Fliptop. As I remember, he's one of the first taglish emcees na relatable sa masa. Kaya pumatok kaagad yung name nya. He found an opportunity there, pero nahirapan syang pangatawanan in the long run. Here and there, nag lileak yung ego nya. Nagrereflect tuloy sa actions at words nya.
I also remember BLKD was tagged "The Loonie Killer" when he was launched by Nothing Else. We all saw what happened. I'm not saying, Loonie is ultimately better than BLKD or Sak Maestro, but it only proves what ego does to you.
I wish Sak, good roads ahead after this. I feel, he just needs to step back again and plan his moves, cleaner this time.
After losing to Manda Baliw, do you guys think this is the end of Sak's rap battle journey?
